Return

I am back in MA from my holiday visit to the family in New Mexico. The trip itself was nothing really worth writing about. My brother is being a butt-head (as Elle Woods would call him). But you don't care about that...

Randy picked me up at the airport, and I spent the night at his place, then he brought me back to Worcester on Sunday. It was a nice weekend.

I will continue with the Parade of Hotties that I began prior to my absence!

Hotties on Parade

I was stumbling around various internet sites, blogs, youtube kinda stuff, and there were a number of blogs that were apparently gay men dedicated to posting pics online of hotties. Some were X rated, while other areas were more PG-13. I haven't decided on whether to go all out or not, but decided I have an extensive enough collection already of random hottie pics that I could start an on-going regular post.

So, we will start with my current fave. If you see him somewhere, be sure to give him my cell number!

Kiss and Tell

When I spoke to Randy (the puerto rican prospect from Match) over the weekend we made tentative plans to meet up on Wednesday. He said he'd call Monday to set something specific. Monday no call. Tuesday no call. So, Tuesday night I called, no answer, I left a message asking if he still wants to meet on Wednesday.

He texted me back at 2am saying "ummmmm yea". 2am? On a weeknight? What was he doing until 2am that that was the earliest he was available to reply? Whatever...

As I leave work Wednesday afternoon, he called. I was running a couple errands, and had my hands full at the moment, so I called him back when I got home (about 4:30 - not much later than usual). We went back and forth a little bit about where to meet and what to have for dinner. I asked if he wanted to meet by me, by him, or somewhere in the middle. He laughed and said, guess which he'd prefer. We ended up agreeing to the "middle" option, but that put us in nothingness. My side of middle was a mall near Marlborough, and his side of middle was the town of Lowell. Neither of us know Lowell at all, so when I said there's Bertucci's and Olive Garden at the mall, he jumped at Olive Garden. I did point out that I prefer local restaurants to chains, but agreed there aren't any other options at that distance.

I went online for a little while he got ready. He called back about 5:30 to say he was leaving his place, and put the address in his nav system. I finished up online, then tidied up the place a little, and got ready. I stopped off at Block5 (yum) for some holiday gift cards. I know, I know, I don't like gift cards either, but they are very appropriate for certain situations (such as coworkers and friends who you know LIKE eating there). The hot waiter from my last trip there was working again, but he didn't notice me. Damn it.

Then I headed over to the OG. My friend Nish called while I was driving, so I sat in the parking lot for a little while finishing up with that conversation. We are meeting up on Friday night, and he offered to take me to the airport on Saturday. Well, actually he offered to take me to the South Station and catch the Silver Line, but close enough. I went in the restaurant after finishing the call, assuming I may as well put my name in for the wait, but there was no wait. It was snowing already. I was actually surprised Randy agreed to meet up. I called to see where he was, and he didn't know, but thought it would be close. He was wrong. Twenty minutes later, he finally made it to the restaurant.

Our waitress was very nice, but it was her first night, and she apologized for EVERYTHING, even if it wasn't an issue. The food was typical, and we had a nice time talking. The conversation turned to his testicles at one point, so we were apparently comfortable together! After dinner we headed into the mall, and I picked up a bag of assorted truffles from Lindt. I also grabbed some fun magnets and a Stewie Griffen glass at Newbury Comics. We also stopped in at Best Buy and I returned my memory card adapter for the PS3. I was thinking there might be an issue, but there wasn't. (You need this $15 gadget to upload your old PS and PS2 memory card data into the PS3's internal hard drive. Then there's really no need to EVER use it again. But apparently nobody realized it is a prime candidate for returns, and they accepted it no problem.) We wandered into Banana Republic, just for the fun of it. As we walked past the full-length mirror he pointed to his crotch and commented on how the fading pattern in the cloth over the zipper made it always look like the fly was open when he catches a view in a mirror out of the corner of his eye. I commented he was just trying to get me to stare at his crotch. He laughed!

After leaving the mall, it was snowing a little harder, so I assumed he'd want to head home, but he was up for doing something else. I asked what. He said I had to decide, since we were in my area. I said there were three choices. Dessert place, bar, or my place. He said he wasn't hungry and didn't want to drink, so how about going back to my place and playing some PS3. We came back to my place, and played Burnout and Lair. I was a little flirty, and leaned against his leg after a little while, but he didn't seem to push any physical contact. I was trying to let him to lead, since he had said he was somewhat 'inexperienced' but he was going just a little TOO slowly. About 1am he said he should head out, but didn't make any move to get off the couch. I moved in for a kiss, and he immediately started making out. We did that for a while, and I was enjoying it quite a bit. He moved into 'riding' position, which starts to sound off those "big o' bottom" warning sirens. But I ended up turning it into me sucking him off! Which I also enjoyed quite a bit. It has been a while since I've been with someone I enjoyed sucking. Even Lebanese Bottom Boy, who had the perfect deep-throat shaped penis was not as inspiring!

As he got in his car to drive home, about 2:30am, I made sure to say "Nice to meet you!" He thought that was funny. Here's the profile pic that grabbed my attention in the first place. (And, yes, he watches Red Sox...)

Cold

Well, after the nasty weather on Thursday, Friday was a decent day. People must have needed a release, because we were rather busy at the club. The stripper twins were there; the 'gay one' was dancing, and he talked the 'straight one' into coming along to keep him company. Of course, he spent the whole night keeping me company instead. I slipped in a couple quips about him wanting me. He slipped in a comment about how he's "hung like a donkey". Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

Junior was there, and getting quite jealous. He asked if that was my boyfriend there talking with me. I said no, he was the dancer's brother. But I got an affectionate kiss, and a noticeable amount of attention from Junior that night.

Leo (the 'other' Brazilian) came in with the drag-queen, but not Marcelo. I gave him a big flirty smile, and comp'ed their cover. He didn't seem too impressed, though.

Meanwhile, I joined Manhunt and contacted the Boston cutie that wanted me to sign up. He has not been responding. A lot of guys who just wanna hook up, and I still can't get any of them interested.

I did hear from one the Match.com guys. He wants to meet up soon, so he said he'd call to chat over the weekend.

Saturday night was Dead. We think the "impending Nor'easter" scared people too much to go out. Leo came in with the drag-queen again; again with no Marcelo. I was flirty again, he didn't seem impressed again. So, on their way out at the end of the evening, I slipped him my phone number. He decided to turn back and give me a kiss goodnight. Though he has not called, yet.

Luther and Keniah came in. They are not having a Christmas party this year, though Luther said he is putting together a birthday party for Keniah in January, and will invite me to that. He asked what I'm up to for Christmas. I told him I was going home to my parents out in NM. He seemed excited for me gettin' some Latino action down south. I told him I just spend the week with my family. He seemed Very disappointed... Mind you, I still want him!

Otherwise, not much happened on Saturday. The storm rolled in somewhere around 4am, so I stayed home Sunday. No sense going out in that if I don't need to. The Match guy called. We spent a while on the phone. Randy. Kind of recently out of the closet. Seems like a nice guy, though, and we seemed to click. He's Puerto Rican, and the pics online look pretty hot. We are planning to meet up on Wednesday. Of course, the forecast for Wednesday is looking possibly messy again.

Winter Excursion - getting home

We got hit by a snowstorm today. Fast and furious snowfall. It started right about noon, and by 4pm, there was a thick blanket over my car. Spent a few minutes cleaning it off, then headed home. For those of you who don't recall, I live a full one and a half miles from work. It normally takes me 8 minutes to get home. I can got TO work in 4 or 5 depending on stop lights, but the traffic is heavier in the afternoon. Today it took me an HOUR to get home. Yes, folks, a full hour. Now, mind you, I did pull over for a few minutes to give some poor schlub a jump. We were not moving very fast, anyway, so I figured why not.

Tonight I would have gone to the gym, and stopped at the Kinko's/FedEx across the street to send out the Christmas gifts to my parents' house (so I don't have to lug it on the airplane, or have it get lost in baggage for three days) and to my sister's house (she won't make it by my parents this year). That's just over four miles away. So, three hours there, and three hours back... just not worth it.

Last night I stopped at Target and discovered some new chocolate. Kisses come in Mint Truffle and Hot Cocoa now, and Hershey's Miniatures have a mint lover collection. I haven't gotten to the Truffle Kisses yet, but the other two are yummy. I also picked up some burgundy Queen Anne's chocolate covered cherries. If you have never tried them, I highly recommend them (for those who like choc-cov cherries to begin with). The burgundy is like a hint of almond extract to them, and Ooooohhhh grrrrl, are they delicious!

So, instead of exercising at the gym tonight, I will most likely end up pigging out on chocolate! Christmas is coming!!

Futile

Friday night I was at work again. We were REALLY dead that night. Very slow. I still made $14 in tips, though! They collected $10 from the staff at the end of the night to chip in for a Christmas gift card to somewhere for the owner. (He announced bonuses this year, so they thought it would be appropriate.) Cristiano came in, followed shortly by Junior and Kevin. It was so dead they left early. I called "beijo" to Junior as he was leaving (means "kiss" - and it is very common to add that to your goodbye) so he turned and gave me a kiss. On the lips!

Saturday morning I went to the gym. The hottie little dark Brazilian there I like was walking in as I was walking out. He usually does not make eye contact, so I have not been able to say hello to him. I did manage to slip in a "hey" nod of the head that he caught and reciprocated. Maybe I'll get a chance to do a "Oi. Como vai?" next time. (Hi How's it goin?) That afternoon I called Marcelo to see if he'd want to go to a movie. He was interested in going to a movie (allegedly), but said his car was wrecked in an accident, so he'd have to get a ride from a friend. I offered to pick him, and he said that was too much trouble. I said it was no trouble because I wanted to see him anyway. He said he'd be "uncomfortable" with that. What the hell is the problem here???? So, he said he'd call Leonardo about getting a ride, and call me back. I Immediately though "OH CRAP" and knew he wasn't going to call back. Which he didn't. If he just blew me off, then fine. If he did call Leo to get a ride to a date with me, then that means both of those options are now off of my table. (See last weekend and the prior weekend tales if you're unclear as to why that could be incendiary.)

So, I ended up going to the mall with Ronny to help him buy some new work clothes. He needed a tie, but wanted a clip on. They only sell clip ons at the boys departments, and those were too short. So when we got back to his house I had to show him how to tie one. We ended up leaving them tied, so he will just slip it on and off. Junior apparently can tie a tie, so joined in to help. And to laugh... At one point he told Ronny he needs a pair of nice pants, too, so Ronny pulls out a grey pair of slacks from his drawer, and Junior tries them on. As he's taking off his pants, he says to me not to look, so of course, I look. Red briefs. Boyishly cute. Kevin came over later, and those two watched a movie together. Ronny had to go to work early, so he went to sleep. I went to the club.

A little busier, but terribly crowded. The only Brazilian there was Marcio, so I danced with him. There was a group of five hot guys there that I had never seen before. Could not have been locals, because Worcester does not support that many hot guys, much less as one complete clique. The tall strapping one in the dark blue Tshirt was my favorite, though the guy-next-door one in black was cute, as was the hyper one on the dance floor. At one point I ended up standing by the edge of the dancefloor and they ended up next to me. Tshirt guy was telling something to his friends that caused a gesture/glance combo that landed on me, so I smiled Hello. He smiled back, with a hint of embarrassment. The hyper one runs up and asks my name, and then introduces me to Tshirt guy, Greg. We chatted a little, and then he went back to his friends. A couple polite 'hey' looks throughout the evening but nothing useful. Towards the end of the night he got his jacket and was on the couch waiting for his other friends, so sat next to him. I asked if I'd ever see him again, he said they wouldn't be coming there often. I said I didn't mean there at the club. He said he has a boyfriend. I said "On the one hand, congratulations. On the other, DAMMIT!" He laughed. They were in from Boston (Knew It!) for a change of scenery. They had a fun night. Hyper one then shows up, jumps on Greg, and then is on me, so I put my arm around him. He had an accent. Grew up in Venezuela, though he is not of latino descent. He was very chatty, pointed out who was top and bottom (Greg got a "bottom" label, so Oh Well). He called himself the pimp, so I asked for clarification on what he was. He reply was "Jewish", so I specified top or bottom. He said, "Well, I've never been fucked." I said "So you're a top." He said "Well, I've never met someone I wanted to let fuck me." He asked what I was. I told him. He also likes rimming. I said I enjoy getting rimmed! His friends started gathering up to leave. He pointed out one other friend's massive biceps (they were nice, but he wasn't my type). He asked if I was on Manhunt. I said no, so he told me to get on and look him up so he could 'fuck my brains out' sometime. He told me his ID name. Then the friends grabbed him, and bicep guy carried him out the door. He grabbed my hand to say goodbye as they pulled him away.

Sunday was uneventful. I didn't join manhunt. Maybe soon... I had tentative plans to meet up with a guy from Match. Different guy than last weekend, but same routine. He had given me his phone number, and said let's meet up Sunday. I called Saturday afternoon to schedule something. No answer. Left a quick message with my number. Never called back. Aughhhh.

And to top it all, I stopped at Burger King at one point this weekend. The bill came to $4.91, so I gave her $5 and a penny. I kind of hate pennies, so this got rid of one in exchange for a dime. The stupid !(&@$ *!@^%$ @($^$%* gave me 9 cents in change. A nickel and four pennies. I stared at the change for a second, about to complain, when the vision of her handing me another penny and bitching to her coworkers flashed through my mind. I didn't want another penny. I was mad that she was so @&^#$(^%$ stupid that she not only gave me BACK the penny I gave her, but gave me MORE! I didn't care about the $0.01 overcharge, it was the pennies that got me so upset. But, again, as it would do no good to point it out, I left without saying anything. Of course, I was fuming about it for the next half hour. This is why the US educational system needs to do a better job. So I don't get more damn pennies!

Internet bill

Once again, I did not get a bill for the cable-broadband. Tuesday night I tried to pull up my account online and check, but they also changed the online rules. You can't just pop into your account, you have to create a user profile now. The profile requires a 'secret code' off your paper bill. I don't have one. So, I called their automated phone line Wednesday. The statement date was 11/27/07. I have not gotten any bill. Not even the email notice they used to send. So, I was able to send a credit card payment over the phone, so this month won't go past due. But I figured out how I could have missed a July AND a September payment. No bill for July, past-due bill for August, no bill for September, past-due bill for October, no bill for November. It's developing a decent pattern here. Unfortunately for them, I paid this month already...

Direct

Friday evening I met up with my friend Nish for dinner. We went to an Indian restaurant. I did not get chicken tikka masala (my favorite). Over dinner, our conversation turned to my dating foibles. Nish is a firm believer in dating being a game. I am not into games, and he thinks that is why I am faring so poorly. I tend to declare my intentions as they occur. He said this ruins the fun and mystery of beginning a new relationship. In other words, I scare them off by being too up-front.

He suggested I back now on my pursuits, and to just flirt without telling them what I want or how I am feeling. He warned I tend to go to extremes. Either I am too forward, or completely inaccessible. He suggested a more happy medium. I said, "Oh, you want me to be coquettish!" He didn't seem to know what that word meant, but figured it was probably right...

As anticipated, Leo and Marcelo showed up together at the club that night. I was working, so it was very easy to be cordial but not obsessive. When I asked to see ID, Marcelo grabbed his crotch and asked if I wanted to "see his documents". I got a fairly cold reception from Leo. I wish it wasn't so all-or-none. Anyway, I took their money, gave them their wristbands, and checked Marcelo's coat. They went in to dance. (I would have offered comp admission, but they were with the drag queen, and I couldn't do 3.)

A little while later, Marcelo stopped up by the front desk, and was just staring at me. I stared back, and started making faces. Did a little elevator eyes, too, while I was at it. Then some people came in, and I had to attend to their needs, and Marcelo wandered off. Later, again, Marcelo stopped by, but there were some people chatting with me (Nish, and Brad) and some people leaving (Danny), so there was a lot of activity at the desk. Marcelo thumbed through the gayrag by the door for a few minutes, and then wandered off again. I didn't even get a chance to acknowledge his presence.

He left with some other guy that night. I do not know if it was a friend, or that they "left together". Between handing out coats, I never even saw Leo lead out, so didn't get to say good-night.

Saturday night was a little busier, but fewer possibilities. Cris was there, so I got a hello kiss and a goodbye kiss. Junior showed up with his ex Robert, who he is still pining for, so I got NO lovin' from him. (I also think Robert is attractive, but I know Ronny messed around with him, too, so he must be a Braziliaphile like me.) I do not know if that means they are reuniting, or establishing a friendship, or just happened to show up at the same time. Daemian thinks Junior wants me, and is just not acting on it, but experiences major jealousy flare-ups if someone else is around. Since he would have heard about the Leo and Marcelo episodes, he may even have played the Robert card as a ploy to get me jealous. According to Ronny, Junior is heartlessly cold and calculating, so it would be within Ronny's version of possibility.

Also, the owner's friend Jazz (half black, half german) was there again. Got to spend more time around him (he stayed to hang out after close), while he was intoxicated, too. Turns out he is a Big Ol' Girl. Big Ol' Bottom, too. Chasing the owner, so not looking for anyone else. So, yea, my earlier synopsis of "my type" was mostly wrong.

I had tentative plans to meet up with a guy from Match. I had suggested Christmas shopping, and he said that was a good idea. When I called to ask when he wanted to, I got voicemail, and he didn't respond until almost midnight (I was asleep). So, the next time I called and got voicemail, I left a suggestion on date and time. He called back Friday night, rather SHOCKED that I would name a time already, despite not having talked yet. Didn't matter anyway, because he said he was working all weekend, and wouldn't be able to meet up. I feel the beginning of the end already.

My life is a hopeless, up-hill battle - Sisyphean, even!
