Here We Go Again

I had an interview again this week. (Sad that an interview is newsworthy.) It went very well, and I feel like a no-contest winner. Of course, I had that similar feeling when my friend Nish was going to hire me, and then his boss said No Way In Hell. But this job would be depressingly not what I wanted (despite the happy face I gave in the interview). Quality Engineer (my job title in 1998) at a small (ugh) family-owned (augh) manufacturing (ughh) company in Woburn (awhh). Redeeming factor one: I need a job, and this would pay money. Factor two: it is an AS9100 registered aerospace component manufacturer, which would open up a number of doors to aero jobs once I had this firmly planted on my resume. They apparently have a 'few more interviews' to do yet, and will let me know. So, there is still a chance this will turn into abject failure, as well.

On a completely different topic, Nauber has taken to watching telenovelas on the Spanish channels at home (Univision and Telemundo). There was this really hot guy on one of them the other day. Shortly after seeing that, I saw a run-down of the competitors on the new Dancing with the Stars. The hottie on the list looked REALLY familiar. Well, now I had a name! Which means I could Google Image search!

Thanks

This week was Thanksgiving. I did dinner again. We had a good turnout this year. Ronny, Nauber, and I of course. Nauber's friends Liliani and Darrell. Ronny's friend Dulci and her two daughters. My friend Shaun and her husband Ian. Nauber's coworker Nick. Ronny's kind-of-sort-of boyfriend also showed up later in the evening and ate the second drumstick, which Nauber was NOT happy about.

My turkey turned out good, as always. Also did a ham this year, turned out fabulous. Served it with an apple cranberry chutney (no cran sauce). Giblet stuffing, smoked gouda mashed potatoes, roasted beets, yams, roasted zucchini, broccoli and cauliflower with crumb topping, and gravy were the sides. The gravy didn't turn out well at all, but that was partly due to Liliani (who offered to help, so came early) trying to tell me I was 'doing it wrong' and taking over. She tried to change the beets, too, but I stopped her on that one, so they did turn out right (which I pointed out to her!). For dessert I did pumpkin cheesecake, mixed berry pie, and a black forest pie. Both Liliani and Dulci brought pave (a Brazilian pudding torte), though one was peach and one was pineapple. I like peach more than I like pineapple, so I liked the pave de pessago (the peach one) better.

My stove schedule was also messed up a bit because Liliani brought a jug of cider and wanted to mull it, so we had a pot with spiced cider, too. I had bought egg-nog, but it got sidelined by the cider.

Nick ended up staying over that night, and we watched Another Gay Movie 'cause he hadn't seen it before (if you watch it, make sure to get the "uncut" version - it's so much more raunchy!). Darryl Stephens is one of my all-time favorites:

Relapse

I saw this on TV and HAD to include it. Don't know his ethnicity, but -could- be Brazilian...

Futbol

Here's a blog I stumbled upon. It features men in various stages of dress / undress. It favors soccer players, but will dabble in celebrities, as well. Frequently not workplace-friendly.

Hot Mormon Boys

I know a fair number of people who have expressed the opinion that Mormon boys are often quite yummy. Their religion tends to be a little uptight about sex, even compared to other Christian denominations. Maybe it is that unavailability that lends them that extra touch of desirability.

Well, one Mormon decided to make them more accessible! He got excommunicated for his efforts. But let us rejoice in the fruits of his labor.

Another Brazilian Birthday Party

Saturday there was another birthday party. Nauber asked if I wanted to go. I pointed out that I end up sitting there surrounded by Portuguese-speaking, and can't follow the conversations, so don't join in. Then everyone asks why I am so quiet. However, I did want to spend the evening with him, so I did go. A couple people attempted speaking English, and one lady got very excited when I said "boa noite" (good night) to her.

The birthday boy was Wanderson. He is the boyfriend of Odalia, one of the girls that Nauber works with. And he is really cute. Picture in your mind Mario Lopez with more of a skinny-muscular build and really smiling eyes.

They had a lot of the usual bite-size fried Brazilian foods that you see at all the parties, plus a ton of chocolates, strawberries and a chocolate fountain, and the typical cake (white cake with pineapple and strawberries with various types of cream - whipped, soaked, and custardy filling). A new one was a chicken cake. Seasoned shredded chicken layered with mashed potatoes and white bread, frosted with a mayonnaise based mixture, decorated with olives, potato sticks, and piped 'frosting' of that mayonnaise thing mixed with mustard. The chocolates included the usual coconut/condensed milk mixture, only these had a grape in the middle. Odd texture combination, and the flavors are a little weird together.

As is also typical, about 10, 10:30pm a couple showed up with their 4 year old and 11 month old. I saw the 11 month old at a party a couple months ago, and she already had pierced ears. Who pierces a 6-month old's ears?

Also about that time, a short cute guy showed up. I soon realized it the hottie from the gym that I have ogled for ages, spoke to once (a long time ago), and have referred to as Brazilian Porn Star. He was there with a tall fat chick, who was very white and blonde, but spoke Portuguese, and he introduced as his wife. I'm not sure if he figured out I was there 'with' Nauber, but anyone would have confirmed it if he had asked. His name is apparently Alex, and the braces are now gone. Wifey was scarfing down the chocolates (after a huge piece of cake), and trying to get him to have one, but he kept turning it down. Abs that cut glass come at a cost, you know. He didn't seem to interact with her well. I wonder if the fugly chick from the gym ended things before he could get resident status, so had to find another... (I know, how mean!) He did say he goes to the gym early now, about 6am. He also mentioned he does not go with the wife. You think it was a hint-hint??

More Epic

I should post a little bit about last weekend's trip to the Roxy. Mykael was going with his friend Mike (who puked the last time I was out with him, so he's not my favorite person). Mykael finds Mike a little trying sometimes, as well, so wanted Nauber and I to come. We also brought Ronny. I invited Luther (who bailed at the last minute), and Nish. Mykael had apparently already been in contact with Nish, and he was planning to come with Manny, but the birthday party for Prema raged on into the night, so they didn't make it. I invited Jean, as well - Dennison's roomie. He said he was tired, so couldn't make it, but mentioned Narrin would be there.

Mike was already at Club Cafe, so Mykael, Nauber, Ronny, and I (who all rode in together) stopped there first. Bumped into Mateus, who was SO happy to see me again. I'm guessing he was high. A little TOO enthusiastic.

Saw Dennison and Narrin at Epic, so said hello. I mentioned I hadn't heard from Narrin in ages, he said it had been a complicated time. Then they proceeded to avoid me the rest of the night. Bumped into Diego, who was also really happy to see me, though he didn't seem high.

The new go-go boy looked JUST like Mateus, except for the big tribal tattoo across Mateus' shoulder. They had Lady Bunny stop by to perform, as well as a guest DJ from NYC. He kinda sucked. Young, shirtless, full of himself. He also committed my personal DJ-sin pet peeve; playing songs with extended breaks in the middle. I don't want to stand around 'anticipating' music, I want to keep going.

We also bumped into Brazilian-hottie Michael. Apparently he did not decide to go straight. He kept rubbing up against me every time he walked past. At one point he joined in dancing with Ronny, Nauber, and me. He then proceeded to grab my ass. And not like "Hey nice ass" - more like "I want to fuck you hard". Ronny was kind enough to jump in and explain to him (in Portuguese, so it was easier) that -uh- that guy next to me was my boyfriend, so please stop. Ronny also informed me that his name isn't really Michael. I wasn't surprised at all. But he remembers that is the name he gave, so it all works out.

We left at 2am. Mykael said he could really go for some fries. Then changed that to onion rings. Ronny said he just wanted to go home because he had to be up at 5 for work. Mykael kind of reprimanded him for going out. I pointed he works at a coffee shop, so should be OK. He's been declining invites because he's working all the time, so I think he just wanted to go out again. Can't blame him for that.

Close to Home

Well, none of the Manhunt people showed up Friday night. The hotdog guy wan't there, either.

Saturday I met up with Eddie, and we went to see Hellboy 2. Not recommended - wait for DVD. The creatures were quite elaborate, but it was one of those movies where every exciting scene made it into the preview trailer.

Then we grabbed a quick dinner and headed back to see Journey to the Center of the Earth - in 3D! That one I liked. Fun. The 3D was cool, even if they did a couple blatant "ooohh, aahhhhh" shots.

Headed over to Brad's house after, with Ronny. We hung out for a while there. Andre is back from Brazil, and was telling some stories about the clubs in Rio. Naked go-go boys, and bathhouse area, and hotties for rent. To the locals, it's very expensive, but for dollars, it works out to a night at Epic at the Roxy. Then I headed over to the club. Brad and Cris joined me there. Danced a little, drank a little, visited a little. Bumped into Luther and Keniah. Said hi. Luther had on a shirt that said "Let's Makeout" in a 70's style rainbow font. I said I liked the shirt (because I want to makeout with him), and he said he liked me. A while later, we ended up dancing for a little bit. Keniah joined. Seemed fine. Then Luther left the dancefloor. Keniah followed, but turned to me as he walked away, flipped me off with both hands and uttered "Fuck you"! I was not exactly sure why... They left very very soon after that. Whatever.

The "I fantasize about you" guy was there. He said hi. Not my type. The hottie Lebanese guy was there, too. I said hi, but he was too shy or something to come talk to me. 'Rico' was there, too. I said hi, but he wasn't terribly responsive.

Visited with Brad. He was chatting with Diego (former Ewww-troll guy). He was friendly, and even would brush against me or put his hand on my shoulder. I met his boyfriend (also Brazilian). They left. Brad and Cris left soon after. I decided I may as well go home, too. It was about 1:30. I said goodnight to Eddie, then headed toward the door. Saw Luther come back in. I said something about him dropping off Keniah, and he said something about 'his trick taking him home'. He wouldn't kiss because he had "hotdog breath", but he hadn't eaten one. He apparently got in a fight with Keniah, bought a hotdog, took a bite, chewed it up, and spit it all over him. He said the fight was because Keniah had hooked up with someone. I asked why he cared, if they were broken up. He said it was because he hooked up with Joe (the friend I've known most of the while I've lived here, who introduced me to Luther and Keniah). I laughed. He asked why I laughed. I said because Joe is married. He was not aware of that tidbit. He then decided to cause trouble (both Joe and his hubby were on duty that night) and went over to talk to Joe, muttering something along the lines of 'you don't cross ME'. I decided to head over and chat with Danielle while that went on.

At the end of the night, I caught back up with him, and I decided to offer to let him come over to my place. He said sure. Then asked about a top. I said we could check manhunt when we got to my place. We walked in the door, and I turned the computer on, then went to pee. He then went to pee. When he came out of the bathroom, we started making out in the hallway, then on the hallway floor. After about 25 minutes, we went the extra 15 feet to the bed. Never ended up opening manhunt. We spent the entire night messing around for a while, then sleeping a bit, then messing around, the sleeping, then messing around, etc. Whenever I would mention in the past that I liked him, he would respond with "what would we do?" because we are both bottoms. Well, let's just say I figured out some things to do, and he liked. He really liked. After 69'ing for a while, he said "woah, THAT was different" and I said "yeah, I've never done it that way before either" but it worked!! At one point he said "why have we waited so long to do this?" I stopped and looked at him. He gave that "yea I know" smile, and I reminded him that he kept turning me down. He was kind enough to leave 'marks' behind that were low enough on the neck to be covered by any shirt.

I dropped him off at his car, then went to Target and the grocery store. Brad called, so I headed over to his house, and a couple of us met up and played some games. We took a break to go see the afternoon showing of Batman, Dark Knight. It is very good, and the Joker is superbly done. If it hadn't been for all the media attention, I would not have even recognized Heath Ledger in there, but he did an excellent job. Of course, the scene where he comments how pretty Rachel is (played now by Maggie Gyllenhal), all I could think was "well, you slept with her brother..." (Relax, relax, it's just a Brokeback Mountain reference.)

Classy

As usual, my weekend started out by sitting at the front door at the club. Cris showed up, Junior came in, and Ronny brought a (female) co-worker. Junior was flirty. Cris was dancing like a madman. The hotdog guy stopped by with a fried dough, and asked if I wanted "a piece of this". I did a little elevator-eyes, and said of course I wanted a piece of that. So he ripped me off a chunk of the fried dough... The rest he gave to Eddie (bartender, and manager on duty) in exchange for a drink. Eddie didn't eat any of the dough, however.

Saturday I had breakfast at IHOP with Ronny. The peach praline pancakes are pretty good! He had to go into work for a couple hours, then we met up again, and headed to Providence. There we met up with Brad and Cris, and Brad's friend from like 15 years ago, Keith. We had dinner at Fire & Ice. My friend Narinn was planning to meet up with us later, and he had mentioned there would be a waterfire that night. Sadly, he was wrong. But there was a music festival, and we had a nice time hanging out down by the river, anyway.

After joining up with Narinn and his friend David, we headed to Alley Cat, then Dark Lady, then Mirabar. (Gay dive bar, drag club, and dance club respectively) Narinn kind of re-hurt his foot, so wasn't dancing much. Keith is what is known as a Rice Queen, and was practically drooling on Narinn all night. Narinn of course took his shirt off at Mirabar, and Keith nearly hyperventilated. Unfortunately, Keith was rather unattractive, and not terribly exciting to be around. But he was trying. I asked Brad if Keith was aware that Narinn is unavailable, and he said No.

Around 1am, Narinn and David mentioned leaving, grabbing a bite to eat, and would meet us (Ronny and me) back at the house. Someone mentioned hanging out, so there was discussion about whether or not Brad/Cris/Keith would visit Narinn's place, too, and whether we were all going to stop for breakfast. In the end, the four of us were heading back (sans diner), and those three were going back into Mirabar. Ronny and I climb into Narinn's back seat (BMW convertible, seats 4), they get in, we are about to head out, and Keith knocks on the window. He asks if we are still doing breakfast. Narinn says no, we're just heading home. Keith kind of invites himself along, and Narinn kind of stammers, and gives in. We squeeze him into the backseat. As we pull away, I see Brad and Cris standing at the street corner, yet. I'm guessing they weren't going back inside. At that point, I felt bad about ditching them, though it was technically Keith that ditched them. I asked him if Brad at least had a copy of the room key for the hotel they were staying at. He said yes. I didn't bother asking how he intended to get back to the hotel himself.

Narinn drops Ronny and me back at my car, then I head over to his house. When we get there, Keith and David are on the porch, so we go inside to drop off our bags. I stop in the kitchen and say hello to Narinn. He's a little weirded out by the whole thing, and was trying to figure out what to serve to eat. Ronny and I were both adamant that he did not need to feed us. He said he felt bad, and I said no need, it was Keith's own fault. We chat for a little while, then David and Narinn both want to go to sleep. Narinn gets David situated, while I call a cab. Narinn did not feel comfortable letting a stranger stay over (Ronny was OK cuz he was with me), and didn't have the room anyway. Narinn lives a couple miles out of the downtown area, so I figured it would be 20 minutes or so for a cab to come. Wrong. It was 45 minutes. Narinn stayed up with him, simply because he wasn't going to leave Keith there unattended, and I stayed with them as well, just to keep Narinn 'safe'. Keith was probably cursing me in his mind, but I knew Narinn appreciated having me there. Keith would have been better off maintaining a little class and dignity that night, though. Narinn did not come away with a good impression.

In the morning, Cris called early to say they were heading home already - Brad wanted to get a lot of yardwork done on Sunday. David headed out, too, because he had things to take care of. Ronny and I got ready, and went to breakfast with Narinn. While I was getting ready, Narinn repeated his bathroom performance I described with Denison the other week. I got in the shower, and he came in the bathroom (clear shower curtain). I was a little uncomfortable, but at the same time, I had this cool comfort of knowing he considered me a friend in a similar manner to someone he has known for years. Breakfast choice #1 didn't pan out due to extensive wait. Breakfast choice #2 had no wait, but for apparent good reason. The food was mediocre to poor. We met up with Rebecca for breakfast, Narinn's "lesbian friend". She was the sporty-dyke type. Lean and tomboyish, ate scrambled egg whites for breakfast, and was taking her bicycle in for repair afterwards. They started making plans - asked if I wanted to come along to Foxwoods casino. I had to take Ronny home that afternoon, because he had a date that evening. I didn't much want to go to a casino at that point, and doubt Narinn really did, either, since he was complaining all night about how little cash he had.

So, we headed home, and they went to the gym, then to rent a movie and chill at her place. As I was getting close to home, Narinn called. He accidentally left his keys in my car. He had a spare house key, but was worried about the car key. His spare for the car didn't work on the door. He called a little later to say he worked on the door for a while, and finally managed to get it open, so he could wait a couple days for me to bring the keys back.

Never heard from Denison this past week. Nish was off hanging out with Manny. I'm guessing it was the Manny we were both interested in. If things go well for them, then he was obviously not my type anyway (top vs bottom). When I talk to Nish, I may gently probe what he knows about Denison's mindset. I still like him, and wish we could still have a little something; if nothing else, at least friends.

Sudden

As usual, the four days of forced vacation were boring as hell. Wednesday evening I called Denison to see what was going on for the weekend. He didn't call back. I got a 'feeling' that he was going to go to PTown without me. Thursday I called about 1pm (he said he was leaving work at noon). He called back that night to say he was going to PTown. Let me emphasize the part about "he was". I asked where he was staying, and he said "with some friends". No invite. And what friends would he be staying with that I haven't met, yet? Shortly after my tense conversation with him, I called Narrin to see where he was staying in PTown. Left a message.

That night I caught up with Nish, and we stopped in at the towny dive/bear bar. Bumped into Luther and Keniah, hanging out now as just friends. Luther was telling me I had no chance unless I found a top to do us in a 3way. Met up with Nish's friends Manny and Manny. Manny 1 was rather cute. I ended up being rather flirty, but he was heading home. So, Nish and I stopped at the club, which was having a foam party. He went in, I stayed dry.

Friday (7/4) I had lunch with Nish. He was going to Boston that night for the fireworks with some friends, and then planning to take the ferry to PTown in the morning. He was staying with Denison. Apparently, he had just spoken to him, and found out D was going to PT, so N chewed him out, and forced D to invite him to crash at his place. Turns out Denison had booked the place a while ago. So, last weekend, when D said he didn't know what his plans were, and he'd let me know when he figured something out, he was lying. I understand we haven't known each other that long, and he may want to party more freely in PTown. I would have had no problem letting him roam free. But to string me along and lie about it really gets me upset. Then Nish tells me that HE was interested in Manny 1, and I was getting in the way the night before and making things awkward. I said I had NO idea, and he should have told me. He agreed he should have mentioned something quietly, back when the flirting started up.

After lunch, I met up with Brad and Cris. Brad's friend Rick came along, too. We went to the theater to see Get Smart, but it was sold out, so we ended up at The Hulk. It was much better than we were expecting, even though we'd heard it was better than expected already. Cris loved the first part of the movie that is set in Rio de Janeiro. After Hulk, we went for dinner. I wasn't hungry, and Brad had an Applebee's gift certificate to use up, so that's where we went. I ordered the grilled chicken and spinach salad (250 calories, according to the menu), and was surprised by how tasty it was. I had not had a pleasant experience at an Applebee's in a while. After eating we went to Rick's place, to play a game, and hang out. We ended up watching the Boston fireworks on TV. Ronny came over for a while to visit with us, as well. I broke the news that I am listing again. Brad seemed a little sad, but Ronny was very sad. I got a phone call from Narrin. He was just layin' low that night, but suggested we go out to one of the Providence clubs on Saturday. I said yes, and said I would call Saturday afternoon to set details.

Saturday afternoon about 3ish, I called Narrin, left a message. He called back at 4 and said "Let's go to PTown!" I decided what the hell, so got ready, threw a change of clothes in a bag, and headed over to his place. His BF was still recuperating from a bad case of strep, so just the two of us headed east. Got to PTown about 8:30 Saturday night. Walked around a bit. Bumped into a couple people he knew. Then I bumped into AJ! He was visiting from St Louis. I said he should have called me if he was going to be in MA! I asked where he was staying that night (we were expecting to drive back that same night, but looking for options), but he was at a hotel in Hyannis with another friend already. Then Nish came running up. He was having dinner with Denison and the two Manny's, and saw us walk past, so came up to say hi. Asked why we were mad at him (didn't call to say we were there). I teased that they didn't want us there, why should we announce our arrival. Later, Narrin complained about Nish being too much DRAMA, and said he doesn't really like hanging out with him that much. He also pointed out that Denison didn't come along to say hello. I said I had already figured it was because of me. I am guessing it was awkward for him to go to the trouble of saying hi to someone he had specifically ditched. Narrin and I had dinner, then wandered some more. Saw John Waters riding around on a bicycle. I pondered where he could be heading; Narrin had no idea who he is. Bumped into Nish's ex Mark and his friend Chuck. We followed them to the Crown & Anchor, then lost them. We headed over to A-House, and bumped into a bunch of people Narrin knows from when he lived in Boston and PTown. His friend John offered to let us crash, but was already rather intoxicated. Narrin spent most of the night flirting with him, so he wouldn't ditch us or forget about us. Saw the Manny's, danced briefly with them, then saw Nish & Denison, so went to say hi. D was very reserved, so I basically ignored him the rest of the night. AJ was there, and getting tipsy. Said we should totally move to CA together, but he's loving living in the midwest because the people are so nice there. He's also apparently shifted his bi-ratio. Still will have sex with girls, but now prefers guys, instead of the other way around.

We stopped at Spiritus and bought John pizza, then went to his place, and started getting ready for bed. Narrin decided to sleep in John's room instead of on the sofa-sleeper with me. I said I had no reason to have a problem with that, but I better not hear any strange noises! (The BF told me to keep an eye on him! It helps that he is very easy on the eyes...) John kind of rushed us out of the house in the morning, so we went and had breakfast. I saw the Brazilian porn guy that was go-go dancing at Boston pride come in to the restaurant with some friends for breakfast, too. Then Narrin saw his friend Chris (fellow Cambodian), so he was chatting with us. Nish showed up just as we were finishing up, so we headed out. Denison was still getting ready, so we were going to wait and say hi, but Nish wandered off, so Narrin decided Screw It, and we went our own way.

Walked a little, shopped a little, met up with Chris at the Boatslip. I said I needed some SPF30 if we were going to be sunning. Narrin didn't believe me, so we just went to the sundeck. I stayed under a patio umbrella the whole time. Chris stayed at the table with me, as well, and we cruised the guys wandering around. Narrin trotted off for a while, then we saw Nish/Denison/Manny's. Denison ignored me, so I ignored back. They all headed to the beach. We headed back to Chris's place to chill out for a while. Grabbed lunch on the way. His roommates came back, and had a few drinks. We visited for a while, then headed back to the Boatslip for the T-dance. Saw Nish and Denison there. Again, Nish said hi, but Denison ignored me. After the party ended (about 7:30) Narrin and I went back to my car, and drove home. Stopped for a little bite to eat at McDonald's (he insisted on McD's), which did not go well, and took a long time. I messed up his order (I'm not familiar with the McD menu, so had a hard time remembering what he all asked for), but he should have just waited a couple minutes before going to the bathroom anyway! By this time my redness was obvious and Narrin was surprised how burned I got since I stayed under the umbrella the whole time. I told him that I was serious about the SPF30!

I didn't get home until midnight because there was a bad accident and a big construction detour on my way home after dropping him off. But I am really glad I went. I had a fun time, met a lot of fun people, and got to know Narrin better. He's a great guy, and we got along very well. He has added me to his close list of friends. And I found out he has a thing for Twix! But he does share.

Boston Pride Addendum

Two addenda, really...

First, I completely forgot to mention that last Friday night, there was also an appearance at the club by Luther and Keniah. After a while, Luther came up front and gave me a big wet kiss. Followed by another big wet kiss. Then turned and said "Goodnight"! I called him a Tease. He objected. Gave me one last kiss, then headed out the door, without Keniah. He got a sausage and peppers from the hotdog guy. Started chatting with some tall white guy standing there, as well. When they finished their meat, they left - together. About twenty minutes later, Keniah left for the evening, with some random guy. I mentioned this episode to Daemian the other night, and he said he had heard a rumor that they had broken up. Sigh - still can't get Luther...

Second, I found a clip I'd like to share. I apparently can't post it on here, though, for it is highly pornographic! If you recall from my post about the Sunday pride block party in Boston:
"several dancers were gyrating in their briefs. My favorite was the Brazilian one – naturally"
Well, the friends I was there with were more interested in the scrawny white twink, so I had to point out I preferred the 'Zilian. Someone said he was a porn star. That seemed a little bit of a stretch, but I stared at him all evening either way. Then, Tuesday night, I was surfing porn on the web, and came across this one that looked familiar. And was like "OMG - he IS a porn star!!!" Yes, the guy dancing at Boston Pride is the top in this clip I downloaded. (For random visitors, that means he's the one getting attention, not giving it.) Just send me a message, and I'll forward the clip to you!

Pride 2008 - Boston

Before we begin, you may want to refresh yourself on the events of Memorial weekend, see 5/27/08. There is one addendum; the friend we met up with in Providence is actually named Narinn, not Arren. I should also mention that this Wednesday I stopped in at the club to check my schedule. I was down for Friday night only, which was good, but there was a notice for a staff meeting Saturday night at 8. Not gonna happen. I did tell the owner when I saw him Friday that I was not coming back from Boston for the meeting, but asked for July 4 off. Back to Wednesday, I saw this hunky latino guy, whose name I don't remember, that I met at Sabrina's birthday party (during which time he had a husband and an adopted son). We'll call him Rico. He was with friends, and did not have a ring on. I thought he had one at the party. I said hello, and how are you; he said “much better NOW”, which was not clear, but I didn’t ask. I had a guess, but didn’t want to suggest anything.

Friday was slow, but the hotdog guy was parked right outside our door. I waved hello, and held his drink for him at my table. I was being fairly ambivalent, as mentioned last time. Katie was there, standing by the cart all night. At one point, around 12:30 or so, hotdog guy came in holding a cheeseburger and asked what condiments I like. I said just ketchup; he put ketchup on and gave it to me. I commented on him being so nice, and he said he “needed to get rid of it”. I didn’t ask, but the first image through my mind was that it fell on the ground. A few minutes later, Katie stormed in demanding I give her the cheeseburger; she’d been trying to get a freebie from him, and he wouldn’t give her one. Interesting plot twist. She also made a comment later referencing the fact that she never did anything with him. On my way out after turning in my drawer, I stopped to flirt for a few minutes, then went home. He gave me a free hotdog.

Saturday morning I got up, got ready, ate the hotdog, and headed into Boston for the Pride parade. Nish was in the parade, and said he’d meet me afterwards at the block party by City Hall. He gave me Denison’s number, but he said he’d be about an hour. I called my friend Peter, but he was at a party, and said he’d meet me at the block party by Fritz. I called my friend Kenny (whom I met through Peter), and he said he was on his way, and would meet me to watch the parade over by Fritz (Kenny never showed up, and I didn’t find Peter). I watched the whole parade by myself, took a few pictures. Typical parade. Not terribly exciting. There were a bunch of Obama supporters in it, but he didn’t come (no surprise); there was no McCain entry in the parade (no surprise). There was a FTM in boydrag as Jesus. The hotties were on the Manhunt and Bacardi floats. Bacardi and Jaegermeister were both in the parade, but neither handed out samples, though I got some CD-rom from Cirque du Soleil. After the parade, I started heading towards downtown. I happened to bump into Mateus, so visited with him for a while as we headed down. Eventually met up with Nish at the City Hall party, then found his friend John, and then found Denison. Nish, John, and I headed to Fajitas & Ritas for a little bite to eat, but Denison was waiting for Jean to show up. Well, Jean never showed, so Denison joined us a little late. The food was not that good, and the service was really slow.

Denison and I headed to the Fritz party, as Nish went to shower and change at Samir’s house. Samir (yes, he’s from India) has apparently been Nish’s BF for a month now, and this was the first I was hearing of it, as well. At the party, we bumped into Jean and a bunch of their friends. I saw a couple other friends, as well, including Mateus, Diego (reformed eywww-troll-guy, who smiled and said hi), Puerto Rican Bottom Boy (see last Christmas / New Year time frame), some Worcester people, Brad’s friend Cory, and a couple familiar looking Brazilian hotties. Nish showed up right after Denison left to go to work, so I was hanging out with Nish. As we were leaving, I bumped into Rico who was also talking to that John I had been trying to get a phone number from at my club, but he hasn’t been in since saying he would stop in to see me. I said I still work Friday nights, so he should stop in, just to say hi to me. Said hi to Rico, who was with different friends, and again no ring. They must have broken up right after Memorial Day. From there, Nish and I went back to Samir’s and I showered and changed, as did Nish. I met Samir; nice guy, doctor, nice place. Nish isn’t sure if he ‘feels anything’ for Samir. Everyone is laying odds on October as when Nish and Mark get back together again. The three of us headed to a south-Asian group party, “Masala”. Lots more non-Asians there than I was expecting. Lots more cuties than I was expecting, as well. We bumped into Nish’s friends Derrick and Ben, whom I had met at Nish’s 30th BD party. Derrick is my type, but Ben is his long time BF, so off limits. Nish and I left early to head down to the Wang Center to go see Chris Rock perform.

Denison works for the Wang, kind of manages it, actually, and got us in for free. The show was great, he was very funny. Nish complained about all the pussy jokes, but really, what else would you expect. We left the Wang about 12:10 and headed across the street to the Roxy, for a night at Epic. I bumped into Roxy, the guy I had met months ago at my club, and never heard from, even though he gave me his number, and claimed to be very interested. He told us Epic was ‘sold out’ and they were only letting in people who pre-bought tickets. I chatted with him briefly, said he should call me, he said yea definitely, then he left, and I assumed he’ll never call. We started to leave, figuring we’d check at Rise what their cover was that night – rumor was $50. Denison happened to call, and Nish told him what was going on, so Denison came over, talked to the bouncers, and got us comp’ed in. So, not only did we get in when others couldn’t, but we didn’t have to pay. And Epic was charging $30 that night. Nothing special, but Junior Vasquez was DJ. And he sucked. The music was horrible. Too many of those “dramatic pauses” where the music stops for a while so everyone goes wild when it resumes. Only it was like 3 times per song, and the pauses were too long. I hate those anyway, and if I owned my own club I would forbid the DJ’s to ever do that. He also had a lot of really screechy vocals, weak bass lines, lame song choices, and not enough energy. Nish said he was just glad we didn’t actually pay for this. While at Epic, we bumped into Christian, from Memorial weekend, who then tracked down Narinn, and rubbed his hand stamp off onto Narinn’s hand so he could get in. Meanwhile Nish found Sergio, and assumed he’d be there with Mark and Chuck, and whoever else, so went over to say hi. He was not with any of them, but we said hi. It was rather awkward. He liked my head buzzed, and rubbed it a couple times. I said thank you, and Nish said I had a strained-looking smile. I had met Sergio on a dance floor, so it just triggered too much for me. Also bumped into weird-looks guy from Memorial weekend; smiled and waved, he gave me a quick glance, and then moved on.

After they closed, we hung outside the Wang for Denison to finish up. Rise was confirmed at $50, so we all decided not to go. We stopped at a pizza place, then headed home. Narinn stayed at a friend’s place, Nish went back to Samir’s, and Denison and I went back to his place. We just went to sleep, and that was that. But later on, something went Bump In The Night. I won’t give the personal details, but let’s just say he needs A/C. Sunday morning was slow, and relaxed. It was 50’s and raining, so not a good day for the Stuart St block party. We just hung out for a while, Denison made lunch. I got a phone call from Russell, who happened to be wandering around Boston with his GF, and stumbled upon a rainbow of festivity on Stuart St. He would have gone in if not for the cover ($10), just for the fun of it. It’s just as well, there really is nothing there other than drinking and hanging out with friends. About 5:30, the weather was a little bit nicer, so we decided to go to the block party ourselves. Nish and Narinn were already there. Then Jean and their friend Eve joined, as well. Saw Mateus again; said hello. Saw my friend Kevin (Junior’s ex). I even saw the cute guy that randomly ran up and kissed me that one night at Epic; waved and said hi, as did he. Tracy Young was spinning, and several dancers were gyrating in their briefs. My favorite was the Brazilian one – naturally. The music was really good, and we danced the most at that party. Narinn’s foot was feeling better, so he was able to dance, more, too (a forklift ran over his foot at work a week earlier). Denison and I were dancing together quite a bit, though still presenting a level of interaction that was not noticeably different than before. Jean and Eve were dancing, and Denison grabbed me to go over to where they were, which ended up being right next to Mateus and his friends (several of which were very damn cute). At one point, I caught a glimpse of Mateus looking at me dancing with Denison, with a mildly jealous look. Nish expects that will trigger him to give me a call. Bumped into Roxy again, so said Hi.

The plan was to head to Fritz (and go inside the bar) after the block party to watch the Celtics game. Since I have no interest, I was going to take that opportunity to go home. Too many people, however, decided that they were hungry, wanted food, and I was not allowed to leave. While we were standing there deciding what to do, and wait for Eve and his BF Ricardo to run to the ATM, Narinn’s incessant flirting brought the attention of two New Hampshirites in town for the festivities. I heard one of them speaking Portuguese, so when they came over to talk to us, and he said I was cute, and I said he was cute, and he said “Really?”, I replied in Portuguese that Eu gosto dos Brasilieros. His name was something like Marcelini, and we kissed a few times before we headed to Fritz. I told him I work at my club job on Fri nights, and he said he’d come down. Implied that he’d enjoy staying at my place. When our group got to Fritz, the bickering began, and we ended up at Club Café instead. There, I bumped into Cory again, with his friend Dave. The seven of us got a table, and Dension, Narinn, and I sat on the end, didn’t order anything, but ended up getting kind of intertwined with legs and arms on each other. Narinn was getting very flirty with me, but he’s a huge flirt, and it never goes anywhere, since he has a BF (with a gorgeous house, as I mentioned before). He was rubbing his hand down my chest and stomach, saying stuff along the lines of “oooh” and “nice”. Since I’m way fatter than either he or his BF, it made me a little embarrassed. He indicated further toward my crotch and said “what’s down there?” to which I replied that what was in back was more important. He didn’t get it, so I whispered in his ear that I am a bottom. He seemed to like hearing that. Flirting for the fun of it, with no intentions, is something I’ve never been good at, while Narinn would randomly say “Hi Cutie” to people we passed on the street. So, again, I didn’t take it seriously. After a little bit, the three of us decided to just each go home, so we headed out. As soon as we left, they announced they wanted to stop for food in Chinatown. The food at Club Café isn’t all that great, so I understand. We went to Pho Pasteur for Vietnamese food; Denison insisted I have some of his chicken. We left there, Denison jumped on the T to go home, and I drove Narinn over to where he was parked, then went home, myself. Next week is Providence, and I jokingly said we’re all going to stay at Narinn’s house, but I think that turned into a reality. As we separated, Denison gave me a nice kiss goodnight, and what appeared to be the ‘call-me’ gesture.

In some regards, it was an even better weekend than Memorial Day, though most of it was a result of everyone I met that time. It was a little strange how many random “blast from the past” people I bumped into. But I had a great time, and am looking forward to spending next weekend with many of the same friends down in Providence!

Epic Weekend, Part Two

Friday night at the club was slow, again. Nothing exciting. Nobody exciting. Daemian is cutting back on hours, as is Carl. Adam quit. Next week's schedule has me on for Saturday, not Friday. I did say "one night a week" so he is keeping to that requirement. The needs have changed, tho, so I am more needed on Sat. No Gayme night this month for me...

But I didn't work Saturday this weekend, so I was able to meet up with Nish and PAR-TAYYYY! He picked me up Sat afternoon, and we headed into Boston. Met up with his friend Daniel, who I discovered is a kissy person with everyone. We had a quick dinner at CPK, then went to Fritz to watch - gag - basketball. Apparently there's like a championship or something going on, and the local team is doing well, or something like that. My take on it was "the Detroit players are cuter than the Boston ones". Fritz is also not my normal type of crowd, but there were a couple cute guys there. One latino-looking one showed up. Nish was sure the guy is a bottom, so he became known as Latino Bottom. Mateus also showed up, was hanging out with some flabby older white guy. I said hello, then ignored him.

When the game ended we headed over to the Roxy, for another night at Epic. Had another great night. Good dancing, cute guys. I saw Mateus again, but he was with a hunky younger white guy this time, and they were kinda making out. So, I didn't bother saying hello. Latino Bottom was there, too. I had a chance to say hello. He just gave me this Weird look. He kept looking at me throughout the night, but it was always these strange, confused looks. Nish noticed them, as well, and we were both perplexed as to what he was thinking. There was also this tall broad-shouldered muscley black guy on the dance floor that I tried being flirty with, but he didn't respond. Later, Nish's friends Dennison and Manny showed up. Turns out Manny is friends with hunky black guy, so I mentioned I thought he was hot. Turns out, he is from NYC and has a BF. Typical. Then met up with Jean Louis. Dennison's housemate / landlord. Jean tried to 'introduce' me to a friend of his, but I wasn't interested in that one. Another tall muscley black guy on the other side of the club turned out to be Jean's friend, too, but he was not interested in me. A latino-ish friend of his, though, was, and took my number. Said his name was Juno, and was going to call on Sunday. Still have not heard from him. He was dancing with a third tall muscley black guy that I liked, and this seemed to be tossing glances my way, but it ended up being too late, and we all left. If Juno remembers who that is in his phone, I may meet them again sometime.

Nish's semi-broken-up BF Mark was there with his friend Chuck and some girl he knows. Mark ended up leaving early so she could go home, but Nish was rather nervous about bumping into Mark. I told him say-hello: yes, hug-hello: yes, make-out-with: no, have-sex-with: no, dilemmas solved, stop obsessing. He followed all the advice except the stop obsessing one.

After Epic, Dennison came along with Nish and I to Rise. We bumped into Chuck, and even saw Latino Bottom. I waved hello, and he gave me a weird look and walked away. I do not know if he was on something, but he was WAY beyond mixed signals, into the pure static category. There was also this hunky 40-ish businessman type there, who also was ripped and cute and hot when he pulled off his shirt, and there with like 5 other late 30's to 40 ripped hot guys. They were all white boys. I seem to be one of the few that ends up in mixed crowds all the time. But 40-ish businessman guy was a total dead ringer for the sales guy at work that I totally have a crush on. I've never seen the sales guy shirtless, but they are about the same height and build, and have the exact same face and hair (that I could tell in the fairly dim-lit club). I doubt it was him, but next time I see the sales, maybe he'll ask if I was in Boston last weekend...

At one point I sat next to Dennison, and we kind of rubbed legs against each other. Nish has suggested getting the two of us together in the past, which I have been a little hesitant about. I was not sure why, but he just didn't spark my interest. Muscley black guy - should be my type, but wasn't working for me. I did realize why - over the course of the weekend. He is out of my league, and intimidates me. For purely physical reasons. Works out a lot, and eats well, and has like 0.002% body fat. I'm probably pushing 15% right now. ("Need to lose 10 pounds" has been uttered for so long now it's more of a background music.) He has no problem taking off his shirt in public. I would never...

But, we were sitting on the couch at Rise, and Nish stops by to inform us that he will be over in the lounge dance area with Chuck. As soon as he disappears around the corner, Dennison asks if I want to go upstairs to dance (the thump-thump-thump dance floor). I, of course, say yes. As soon as we get on the dance floor, he grabs me, pulls me in, and we do more of a coupley grindy cheek-to-cheek dancing. He has an ass like rock. Literally, like rock. It was tight and round and very very firm. Touching his body just made me more self-conscious, but he was holding me, and didn't seem to convulse or retch at any point.

All of a sudden, I notice Chuck and Nish are dancing behind us. Now I also felt awkward. Like we were doing something "wrong" or that Nish would be offended. I don't know, I overthink everything. So, we eventually drifted a little apart into more typical stances. Nobody said anything though. We left somewhere around 4:15, and went to Dennison's place to crash. Nish pulled an aerobed out his trunk, and inflated that. On the drive into Boston, it sounded like Nish was offering me the aerobed, but once we got to that point, he kind of quickly said he'd sleep on the aerobed and let me sleep in Dennison's bed. Well, I slept under different covers than he did, so we never even touched (he has a full, which was a little cramped). Nish was sleeping at the foot of the bed, so nothing would have ever happened anyway, but I was not sure what all the "signals" of the evening were pointing to.

In the morning, Dennison made breakfast (veggie omelette and sourdough toast, with yogurt, fresh fruit, and cooked oatmeal - I passed on the oatmeal, mostly because there was plenty else to eat), we chatted with Jean briefly as he whirlwinded his way out to the door to go to NYC. Then we each got ready, and headed to Providence. Bummed around for a while, had dinner (Cheesecake Factory - no dessert), then went to Dennison's friend Arren's place. Chilled there, for a while, washed up and changed. They turned on basketball again. This time it was west coast teams. My take was "San Antonio has cuter players than LA". Arren and his BF Jim have this HUGE gorgeous house. The bathroom is about the size of my condo. There is a shower, and a separate tub. The tub had it's own stage, and was backlit. Very gay. In the Better Homes and Gardens kind of way. Arren and Dennison went to pick up his friend Christian, while Nish and I visited with Jim. Jim opened a bottle of prosecco, the boys arrived, we chatted a little more, then headed out to the Military Ball at Therapy.

Arren is Cambodian, and built like a martial arts film star. Christian is El Salvadoran, and quite cute. Jim stayed home, so it was just the five of us. We were the UN delegation at the Military Ball... Walk in, and see Latino Bottom! Again, I said hello, he gave me a Weird look, and then I just basically ignored him all night. There were a lot of hot guys there. A good number of military outfits, but mostly camo cargo shorts and tanks. Arren was being rather flirty with me, which again, I was surprised by, and self-conscious of. He was more in the 1% body fat range, not quite as sharp as Dennison, but very cover-model, with a shaved head and really cute. We were sitting on the couch at one point, and he was a little touchy. He liked my nose, and even grabbed my arm. I quickly pointed out my arms were not nearly as nice as his, but he was still appreciative, and said I should give him a call to hang out in Providence sometime. I know Nish has his number, but he didn't actually give it to me, so I'm just assuming he was being flirty for the fun of it. Dennison had been less aggressive than the night before, but still grabbed me to dance with him a few times. At one point I sat next to him, and put my arm on his leg, but he was rather unresponsive. But when I was sitting with Arren, he came up. I smiled at him, and he just kind of looked at me, then at Arren, then walked away. He told Nish he made out with some guy in the back corner. I was just chatting with Arren, and didn't think anything of it - he is taken, and also out of my league - but Dennison's reaction just seemed a little jealous.

Again, it was around 4:15 when we left. I made a light-hearted offer to let Dennison stay at my place (in reference to avoiding Nish's cat), and then let it drift on its own. When we got back, and Nish dropped me off, Dennison gave me a kiss good-night (it was dawn already, but you know), and they left.

I got some sleep, woke up, ran to the store, got some supplies, and tossed together a quick chocolate-cherry cheesecake. Eddie came over, and we headed to Lady Sabrina's for a cook-out. Lady S was also having a birthday this weekend, so the BF was trying to throw a surprise party, but it kind of fell apart, and Troy (Sabrina's public alter ego) found out. There was a ton of food, and a yummy birthday cake. The family and the gays kind of self-segregated, but it was still a fun time. One of the queenie little twinks grabbed one of the straight women's phone when it chirped, and ended up have a rather raunchy phone-sex conversation with the woman's dad. That ended up being too much fun, so they called her brother and repeated the performance. It was hysterically funny, but a little twisted. Her mother was there with her, and they both thought it was funny. The brother admitted to trying to have drunken sex with the sister once. Yeah, maybe more than a little twisted. Sabrina is a huge Wonder Woman fan. Has lots of art and collectibles. Some of them were truly impressive. Has an outfit, too, though he said it doesn't fit these days. Played Gauntlet on the PS3 for a little while, then headed home.

While I was out all weekend, I got an email from the geeky engineer manhunt guy. He himself isn't an engineer, though he worked for a railroad. I will see about meeting up with him sometime, soon. I also should talk to Nish about Dennison, and see if there was anything going on, or if it was all my imagination.

Glances

Thursday night was a juicy night at the gym. Lots of Brazilians. Some of them seem to be 'available' though none of them make an approach. The skinny Irish guy was there, too. He's always struck me as questionable, and has this protruding vein running across the front of his shoulders that is SO sexy. A few weeks ago (nowhere near October) I saw him go into the locker area, and bring out a pair of high heels and deliver them to the girl on the elliptical machine next to me. I didn't find out details, but I started picturing him in drag.

As I was finishing up on the elliptical last night, I happened to be looking at him, across the room, and muttered "fuck me" under my breath. He was WAY too far away to have even been able to read my lips, but as soon as I 'said' it, he waved. It looked like he waved at me, but that wouldn't even make sense, so I assumed it was some chick near my line of sight, and went about my business. Later, he ended up chatting with a couple girls right in front of me while I was on the chest press machine. The topic went to cardio classes, and he mentioned he used to go one with his friend Jay, and how they out-cardio'ed all the girls, but they probably all thought they were gay, so they held hands once just to psyche them out. And the whole time I am thinking, Holy Crap he sounds like a big homo when he speaks. He did not wave, or say hi, or address me in any way while he was close, so again, I am assuming the wave was for someone else.

For this week's hottie, I'll try to give you an idea what Skinny Irish Guy looks like. This is actually very close...

..he really is that cut. But his face is actually much more 'cute'. Kinda like this:

Futile

Friday night I was at work again. We were REALLY dead that night. Very slow. I still made $14 in tips, though! They collected $10 from the staff at the end of the night to chip in for a Christmas gift card to somewhere for the owner. (He announced bonuses this year, so they thought it would be appropriate.) Cristiano came in, followed shortly by Junior and Kevin. It was so dead they left early. I called "beijo" to Junior as he was leaving (means "kiss" - and it is very common to add that to your goodbye) so he turned and gave me a kiss. On the lips!

Saturday morning I went to the gym. The hottie little dark Brazilian there I like was walking in as I was walking out. He usually does not make eye contact, so I have not been able to say hello to him. I did manage to slip in a "hey" nod of the head that he caught and reciprocated. Maybe I'll get a chance to do a "Oi. Como vai?" next time. (Hi How's it goin?) That afternoon I called Marcelo to see if he'd want to go to a movie. He was interested in going to a movie (allegedly), but said his car was wrecked in an accident, so he'd have to get a ride from a friend. I offered to pick him, and he said that was too much trouble. I said it was no trouble because I wanted to see him anyway. He said he'd be "uncomfortable" with that. What the hell is the problem here???? So, he said he'd call Leonardo about getting a ride, and call me back. I Immediately though "OH CRAP" and knew he wasn't going to call back. Which he didn't. If he just blew me off, then fine. If he did call Leo to get a ride to a date with me, then that means both of those options are now off of my table. (See last weekend and the prior weekend tales if you're unclear as to why that could be incendiary.)

So, I ended up going to the mall with Ronny to help him buy some new work clothes. He needed a tie, but wanted a clip on. They only sell clip ons at the boys departments, and those were too short. So when we got back to his house I had to show him how to tie one. We ended up leaving them tied, so he will just slip it on and off. Junior apparently can tie a tie, so joined in to help. And to laugh... At one point he told Ronny he needs a pair of nice pants, too, so Ronny pulls out a grey pair of slacks from his drawer, and Junior tries them on. As he's taking off his pants, he says to me not to look, so of course, I look. Red briefs. Boyishly cute. Kevin came over later, and those two watched a movie together. Ronny had to go to work early, so he went to sleep. I went to the club.

A little busier, but terribly crowded. The only Brazilian there was Marcio, so I danced with him. There was a group of five hot guys there that I had never seen before. Could not have been locals, because Worcester does not support that many hot guys, much less as one complete clique. The tall strapping one in the dark blue Tshirt was my favorite, though the guy-next-door one in black was cute, as was the hyper one on the dance floor. At one point I ended up standing by the edge of the dancefloor and they ended up next to me. Tshirt guy was telling something to his friends that caused a gesture/glance combo that landed on me, so I smiled Hello. He smiled back, with a hint of embarrassment. The hyper one runs up and asks my name, and then introduces me to Tshirt guy, Greg. We chatted a little, and then he went back to his friends. A couple polite 'hey' looks throughout the evening but nothing useful. Towards the end of the night he got his jacket and was on the couch waiting for his other friends, so sat next to him. I asked if I'd ever see him again, he said they wouldn't be coming there often. I said I didn't mean there at the club. He said he has a boyfriend. I said "On the one hand, congratulations. On the other, DAMMIT!" He laughed. They were in from Boston (Knew It!) for a change of scenery. They had a fun night. Hyper one then shows up, jumps on Greg, and then is on me, so I put my arm around him. He had an accent. Grew up in Venezuela, though he is not of latino descent. He was very chatty, pointed out who was top and bottom (Greg got a "bottom" label, so Oh Well). He called himself the pimp, so I asked for clarification on what he was. He reply was "Jewish", so I specified top or bottom. He said, "Well, I've never been fucked." I said "So you're a top." He said "Well, I've never met someone I wanted to let fuck me." He asked what I was. I told him. He also likes rimming. I said I enjoy getting rimmed! His friends started gathering up to leave. He pointed out one other friend's massive biceps (they were nice, but he wasn't my type). He asked if I was on Manhunt. I said no, so he told me to get on and look him up so he could 'fuck my brains out' sometime. He told me his ID name. Then the friends grabbed him, and bicep guy carried him out the door. He grabbed my hand to say goodbye as they pulled him away.

Sunday was uneventful. I didn't join manhunt. Maybe soon... I had tentative plans to meet up with a guy from Match. Different guy than last weekend, but same routine. He had given me his phone number, and said let's meet up Sunday. I called Saturday afternoon to schedule something. No answer. Left a quick message with my number. Never called back. Aughhhh.

And to top it all, I stopped at Burger King at one point this weekend. The bill came to $4.91, so I gave her $5 and a penny. I kind of hate pennies, so this got rid of one in exchange for a dime. The stupid !(&@$ *!@^%$ @($^$%* gave me 9 cents in change. A nickel and four pennies. I stared at the change for a second, about to complain, when the vision of her handing me another penny and bitching to her coworkers flashed through my mind. I didn't want another penny. I was mad that she was so @&^#$(^%$ stupid that she not only gave me BACK the penny I gave her, but gave me MORE! I didn't care about the $0.01 overcharge, it was the pennies that got me so upset. But, again, as it would do no good to point it out, I left without saying anything. Of course, I was fuming about it for the next half hour. This is why the US educational system needs to do a better job. So I don't get more damn pennies!

Thanksgiving 2007

My friend Daemian came up to visit again. He had a great time, learned a few things, and even cried, but I will leave him to tell his own tales. See the link on the right hand list.

Wednesday night I made pumpkin cheesecake, glazed apple pie (think Hostess Fruit Pie), and fudge brownies. Though, they were more like brownie-flavored fudge. Daemian came in on the bus, so I picked him up. He had UPS'ed over a CASE of wine, so I unpacked those, and put the whites in the fridge. We went to the club that night and hung out for a little bit. Danced a wee bit, as well. Confirmed plans with Carl, who was making the feast the next day.

Thursday we headed over to Miss Kitty's house. Carl did most of the cooking, with Kitty contributing meatballs and lasagna. Carl made a beautiful ham, a glorious turkey draped in bacon (which kept it OH so moist), candied yams, roasted-garlic mashed potatoes (Insert sound of Homer Simpson drooling), and both a fruit & chocolate fondue, and a bread and cheese fondue. He made his own cranberry sauce, and had a few other sides and rolls... It was a great meal, but dessert stole the show, as always! They were all very fond of the pumpkin cheesecake! Later that evening, Carl and Mattie had to go to work, so the party broke up. D and I went back to my place. The fact that he had not seen Moulin Rouge had come up in conversation, and Carl was adamant that we correct that error. (Daemian likes adamant demands!) So, we watched Moulin Rouge. Nosed around my Playstation games a little after that.

Friday we had tentative plans to head over to Brad's house to play some games. He had other possibilities floating around, so we ended up with a little time to kill. I ended up at Best Buy and walked out with a Playstation3 and several games. Love it! Need the Burnout series to hit the next gen, now! We started a game of Civ (board game version), but quit around midnight. D and I headed to the club again. The owner was there, slightly drunk, and was a little PO'ed at me, cuz they were short-staffed. Nobody asked me to work that night, though he had mentioned in earshot that they would be short-staffed. Not my problem, really... We had a good time there, and I danced a lot with the Brazilians. Junior and Leo were there. I was a little flirty with Leo, which made Junior a little more touchy-feely with me. I told Leo I wanted to kiss him, and he said I had already kissed his friend, meaning Marcelo. I protested that I was working that night, and just got a kiss 'hello' from Marcelo, and wanted a REAL kiss from Leo, as in "twenty minutes"! He gave a 'damn, Gina' look, and said something about not wanting people to think he was trampy. I pushed gently the rest of the night, and on their way out, Leo gave me a couple really good kisses. After grabbing their coats, he turned to give me one last mini make-out session. HOT!

Saturday morning I made a banana bread (we may be reaching 6 digits on the calorie count by now!!) and we headed back over to Brad's house to finish the game. I lost - miserably. I always lose once it turns to dice rolls. We headed over to 5&Diner for burgers. Then Brad headed to a HS reunion, and D and I picked up Ronny and Cris and headed to Best Buy. Ronny wanted a flat-panel TV, and was all excited about a $450 32" one. Daemian and I both vetoed that idea when we saw it. No-name chinese import TV with no picture resolution data on the box. No display model, either. He ended up with a 26" Magnavox with built-in DVD. Very nice picture, and reasonably priced. Fits well in Ronny's bedroom, too. (He can now watch Project Runway at home; that was his objective.) He also bought an iPod to send to his nephew, and I picked up a BluRay to try out my new PS3's video player. "300" Even on my analog TV (it IS a Sony Trinitron, however) it looked impressive. Daemian wants me to buy a LCD from him. I'm contemplating... Went to the club again that night. Cris and Brad were there, as were Rick and Andrej. Apparently Andrej is leaving this Wednesday for Brazil, and still sat sulking in the corner. I danced for a little while, then saw Marcelo. Had the usual 'why didn't you call' and 'I want to kiss you' comments, that went nowhere. Later, he was sitting on the couches, with his friends (a couple). I decided to sit next to him. He put his arm around me, though still declined kissing. He said he doesn't like to kiss unless it's his boyfriend. I said if he would call me back I might be! Even his friends were trying to get him to kiss me, but he said he was too tired. We ended up cuddled on the couch for the rest of the night. Mostly I was in his arms *heeheee*, but for a while he was in my lap, and I rubbed his back. Really nice hands, great arms, good legs. I slid my hand a little 'too' far into his crotch when he let me feel his leg! When they turned the lights on, we got up off the couch. I had to stand behind the support column because I was a little too excited. He stood behind me, and started grinding his crotch into my ass. *giggle* I did finally get a kiss, too. A couple minutes' worth! But he had to leave.

Sunday, D and I went to brunch. Headed to Block5 again. (See the Halloween post.) His first real brunch experience. (Bad homo!) The food was excellent, and the waiter was yummy, too. The staff wears 'pajama'-ish clothes for brunch, so he had on flannel pj pants and a T-shirt. Nice butt. He was the only one wearing a server's apron, so I'm guessing he has a big bulge, too! I dropped Daemian off at the bus station a little later, and Ronny called. His computer died, and he needed my help again. I gave a quick call to Marcelo before heading over, but he didn't pick up, and has not returned my message. Mr. I'll-call-you-tomorrow strikes again! Ronny and I watched the two episodes of Project Runway I had recorded, and I got his computer up and running again. It ended up being a later night than expected. I had even offered to have the roomies come over to my place to watch "300" but they were not interested in heading outside. Junior has not seen it yet (he took two Tylenol PM the night he went to see it at the theater, and slept through most of it), so I made sure to mention that he can come over whenever he needs to watch it!

addendum

I completely forgot to mention the Other fun episode from last Friday night. The hunky stripper Nate was there with his brother, Rich. Twin brother. Nate apparently does personal training, as well, and is a bit more buff than Rich. Also more outgoing. I noticed Rich has a slight speech impediment, which I am sure is what led to him being more quiet.

The two of them stayed up front by me and chatted for quite a while. At one point, Mattie came over, and got around to calling Nate "the straight one". To which, I commented "That would imply YOU (looking at Rich) are 'the gay one'!" Nate said yea, Rich was lookin' for a man. I said I was, too!

Nate was working that night, and Rich was just along for support. He came over to talk to me some more by himself, while Nate was busy. We got along well enough, so I asked him about his preferences. He claims to only hook up with guys if it will help advance his career (wants to be a model). Oh, I can already envision the disappointment that is going to lead to! But I just laughed and said I'd have to figure out a way to advance his career...

They said goodnight as they left to go home at the end of the evening. Rich quickly added that he would see me next Friday. Now I also have to lose 10 pounds by then!! :)

Wonderful Dream

It has been a while since I've subjected you to a retelling of a dream I had, so I will recount last night's. It was a sex dream. And it was a good one! For me, anyway!!

It was set in a house with a group of roommates. Think Real World or Surreal Life. One of the roommates was (in dream-world) Flava Flav's son. I did not get a name. And, no, I have NO idea if he has children (I would assume, tho) or how old they would be, or any such real info. But it was a dream, OK.

Someone decided that we should all go to a movie. I ended up in FF's room, as he was getting ready. Hot little black guy, with an absolutely adorable face. (I'm guessing the mother was way better lookin' than the dad!) As the son of a famous rapper-type, he was saddled with the expectation to be straight. We were talking, and he got very close, however. I jokingly said, "What, are you gonna kiss me?" And he did. Sweet little peck on the lips. Then he looked all embarrassed. Blabbered on about something for a while. Then got that "oh what the hell" look and grabbed me. Pulled me in tight, and kissed me again. This one started closed, but soon opened. Then turned into full-on making out. (The heat coming off the small of his back was really enticing!) Soon we were on the floor, and clothes were being tossed to the side. As his 'first time' I figured we'd start him off as a French-passive. (it's an old term meaning getting a blow job) He was into that, and I was into that. And he tasted good! Lot of chocolate to work with, too, of course. (It IS a dream, remember!) I was enjoying it so much that I erupted quite forcefully. Think Vesuvius vs. Pompeii. He (being rather nervous and all) came a little less dramatically, but fell into my arms and kissed me some more.

After some snuggling, which kinda just smears the mess around, I checked around on the floor to see how bad of a mess I made on the carpet. Nothing. I was shocked! Then I noticed the ceiling was Sprayed! I have been known to fire good distances, but 10 feet is a bit unrealistic... (Side note - if you've seen Something About Mary, I have done that, and you can HEAR it hit your ear, and FEEL it sticking to the side, so that scene was VERY implausible! Yes, I know it was meant to be...) We did a little wiping, and then he fell back against the dresser. He was just so irresistible that I had to go in and kiss him some more. He kissed right back!

Then he got that "what does this Mean?" look on his face, and pondered aloud if he could handle having a boyfriend. I asked if he meant he wanted one. This caused an "oh my God" expression, and he asked if I would be at all interested in dating him. I said Yes! Then grabbed him and started making out some more.

That was how I woke up this morning. He was just so damn cute, it was a shame I'll never see him again! :)

Take Home

Flipping channels this morning, I stumbled upon Andrew Dan Jumbo again. You may recall my previous mentioning of this hottie carpenter. His current show is called Take Home Handyman, and the concept of the show is ADJ cruising the Home Depot for someone who wants to take him home with them. Sadly, they just do carpentry projects when they get there. But I would GLADLY volunteer to take him home!!

Take Me Home!

Short

I was having a discussion about whether or not short guys can be hot. As my definitive proof, I hereby submit the following photo. This is my hottie Puerto Rican friend Luis. He is 5'3" tall. And nobody cares!!!!

(If you read this, Luis, I assume you don't mind I posted this pic!!)
