Friday night was my last night at the club. Daemian came into town, supposedly to celebrate, so we had dinner at Block5 first. Excellent, as always.
I brought in pumpkin cheesecake for after we closed. Made a whole one just for Eddie. Leave with a good impression!
Otherwise, spent the weekend hanging out with friends. Fairly laid-back. Sent out the notice on my Moving Sale to all my (local) friends. Plan to post it on Craigslist this week, too.
Spent some time pondering what to suggest as my new job description if I were to rescind my resignation. The options are theoretically unlimited, but it did have an "Engineering Department" slant to it, and that would not necessarily provide me much org chart ladder climbing, either. The head of that dept. is more obstinate than anyone else there, so on a certain level, it would be climbing down a rung from supervisor to staff.
I wish this were easier...

Lowballing
Thursday morning I got a message that I received an offer on my condo. It was $30k below asking. So we countered. Friday I started thinking of life after quitting my job. It was happy! I had to remind myself it wasn't happening, yet.
I got an email at work saying that the new guy is going to be the next Quality Manager, but it still leaves 'opportunity' for me. Great. I'm working on getting the details worked out on just how they are screwing me over - preferably in writing - but my boss will be on a fishing trip until Wednesday.
I had dinner that night with Russell. Mentioned what was in the works. He offered to let me stay at his place after (if) everything happens. At this point, I'm looking at signing Purchase and Sale this week, turning in my notice, and putting together an unemployment claim. Lack of advancement opportunity... In which case I can list Russell's place as my address, and hang out for a while, as I figure out where I am going and what I am doing.
Friday night was pretty dull at work, except for one grumpy drunk straight guy we wouldn't let in. Seth stopped by to say hi. He looked really good. Nish stopped in; minor update on Denison; he's being a rube, but Nish isn't helping. (Despite the conversation I had with Nish on 7/4 about why I thought Denison was being a moron, when Dension asked Nish on 7/5 why I was 'avoiding him', Nish's reply was "I don't know"!) I left fairly quickly after we closed, though. Ran home, took a nap, then picked Russell up at 4:30am to take him to the airport. Got back home, slept a few hours, then headed over to my friend Rick's place to play some games with a few friends. After that, headed over by Brad and Cris (with Ronny). Watched a movie (Naked Boys Singing! - it's actually a lot of fun, and pretty good), then headed towards the club. I dropped Ronny off at home, though, 'cuz he has to work Sundays, yet. He quit his part-time job, so my last weekend at the club is also his last weekend at the hotel.
There were a ton of Brazilians there that night, so I was dancing all night. One hot new one was trying to garner all the attention, but looked a little uncomfortable at the same time, and was staring at the girls. This summer's version of Shirtless Confused Brazilian, I guess. (He did take his shirt off toward the end of the night.) When I went up to the bar to order a drink, Joe said the guy at the other end bought mine. He was older and pasty, flabby, NOT my type. I did say Hi and Thank You. Some other guy interrupted to say hi to me and give me a hug. Not sure who it was, but drink-buyer made a dismissive comment about "twinks not knowing any better". I wasn't sure what he was talking about, since he was basically doing the exact same thing. So I went to dance with my friends. I'm hoping that being around cute Brazilians all night tipped him off. Diego was there, without boyfriend, but with a new young guy that was kind of all over him. Diego danced with me a little bit, too. There was a hunky 40ish white guy there that I thought was hot, too, but he was obviously there with his boyfriend. (Oddly enough, the BF was black, but I didn't care for him...) Barry was there, too (a cute guy I see now and then, and even bumped into at Providence Pride). I chatted briefly with him, but he seemed avoidant after that. The one queeny Brazilian that likes to hang all over me was there, too. I tried pushing him off gently again. Seemed to work. Hotdog guy was not there, but Brad mentioned he's invited HD guy to game nights. Interesting...
As we were leaving, the queeny one trapped me on the sidewalk. Invited himself over. I said no thank you. I actually was really tired (see airport run from earlier), but wouldn't have wanted him to come over anyway. Not my type... Turns out he's not Brazilian, though. Didn't say what he IS, but doesn't matter. He tried to come over "just to cuddle" when I said I just needed to sleep. I turned him down. He got offended. Whatever.
Sunday, spent 2.5 hours on the phone with Daemian. Also ran to the grocery store. Saw Banana Twinkies. Had to try them. I like them better than normal Twinkies - which is probably a bad thing. I got a call from my agent. The buyer agreed to my 'final offer', so I'm basically breaking even, but will be moving on with my life soon. Or at least quitting my soul-sucking job. Met up with Brad online, and played WoW for a while. I went to bed with thoughts of unemployment claims dancing in my head. And being rather excited about the possibility.
So far, Monday has offered up nothing useful at work. I got more paperwork underway on the P&S agreement for the condo. I have to be out by the 29th. I can't turn my 2-weeks in at work until at least Wednesday, which sucks. I would have loved to have had the conversation today about what the 'plans' are and storm off in a huff. Soon, though. "All good things come to those who wait."

Close to Home
Well, none of the Manhunt people showed up Friday night. The hotdog guy wan't there, either.
Saturday I met up with Eddie, and we went to see Hellboy 2. Not recommended - wait for DVD. The creatures were quite elaborate, but it was one of those movies where every exciting scene made it into the preview trailer.
Then we grabbed a quick dinner and headed back to see Journey to the Center of the Earth - in 3D! That one I liked. Fun. The 3D was cool, even if they did a couple blatant "ooohh, aahhhhh" shots.
Headed over to Brad's house after, with Ronny. We hung out for a while there. Andre is back from Brazil, and was telling some stories about the clubs in Rio. Naked go-go boys, and bathhouse area, and hotties for rent. To the locals, it's very expensive, but for dollars, it works out to a night at Epic at the Roxy. Then I headed over to the club. Brad and Cris joined me there. Danced a little, drank a little, visited a little. Bumped into Luther and Keniah. Said hi. Luther had on a shirt that said "Let's Makeout" in a 70's style rainbow font. I said I liked the shirt (because I want to makeout with him), and he said he liked me. A while later, we ended up dancing for a little bit. Keniah joined. Seemed fine. Then Luther left the dancefloor. Keniah followed, but turned to me as he walked away, flipped me off with both hands and uttered "Fuck you"! I was not exactly sure why... They left very very soon after that. Whatever.
The "I fantasize about you" guy was there. He said hi. Not my type. The hottie Lebanese guy was there, too. I said hi, but he was too shy or something to come talk to me. 'Rico' was there, too. I said hi, but he wasn't terribly responsive.
Visited with Brad. He was chatting with Diego (former Ewww-troll guy). He was friendly, and even would brush against me or put his hand on my shoulder. I met his boyfriend (also Brazilian). They left. Brad and Cris left soon after. I decided I may as well go home, too. It was about 1:30. I said goodnight to Eddie, then headed toward the door. Saw Luther come back in. I said something about him dropping off Keniah, and he said something about 'his trick taking him home'. He wouldn't kiss because he had "hotdog breath", but he hadn't eaten one. He apparently got in a fight with Keniah, bought a hotdog, took a bite, chewed it up, and spit it all over him. He said the fight was because Keniah had hooked up with someone. I asked why he cared, if they were broken up. He said it was because he hooked up with Joe (the friend I've known most of the while I've lived here, who introduced me to Luther and Keniah). I laughed. He asked why I laughed. I said because Joe is married. He was not aware of that tidbit. He then decided to cause trouble (both Joe and his hubby were on duty that night) and went over to talk to Joe, muttering something along the lines of 'you don't cross ME'. I decided to head over and chat with Danielle while that went on.
At the end of the night, I caught back up with him, and I decided to offer to let him come over to my place. He said sure. Then asked about a top. I said we could check manhunt when we got to my place. We walked in the door, and I turned the computer on, then went to pee. He then went to pee. When he came out of the bathroom, we started making out in the hallway, then on the hallway floor. After about 25 minutes, we went the extra 15 feet to the bed. Never ended up opening manhunt. We spent the entire night messing around for a while, then sleeping a bit, then messing around, the sleeping, then messing around, etc. Whenever I would mention in the past that I liked him, he would respond with "what would we do?" because we are both bottoms. Well, let's just say I figured out some things to do, and he liked. He really liked. After 69'ing for a while, he said "woah, THAT was different" and I said "yeah, I've never done it that way before either" but it worked!! At one point he said "why have we waited so long to do this?" I stopped and looked at him. He gave that "yea I know" smile, and I reminded him that he kept turning me down. He was kind enough to leave 'marks' behind that were low enough on the neck to be covered by any shirt.
I dropped him off at his car, then went to Target and the grocery store. Brad called, so I headed over to his house, and a couple of us met up and played some games. We took a break to go see the afternoon showing of Batman, Dark Knight. It is very good, and the Joker is superbly done. If it hadn't been for all the media attention, I would not have even recognized Heath Ledger in there, but he did an excellent job. Of course, the scene where he comments how pretty Rachel is (played now by Maggie Gyllenhal), all I could think was "well, you slept with her brother..." (Relax, relax, it's just a Brokeback Mountain reference.)

Possibility
If you recall, a long time ago, I bumped into a little hottie from Boston at the club, and I joined Manhunt as a means to contact him. That failed miserably, but I have maintained a passing interest in the site. Mostly, I log in, check messages, and log back out. Often times, that brief appearance is enough to catch some attention, which will lead to a couple winks or messages, which is why I log in to check messages in the first place. Nothing has happened with anyone from the site. The closest I've gotten in the usual messages-for-a-couple-weeks until the let's-meet-up moment, at which point they disappear never to be heard from again. It happens to me ALL the time. In person, on traditional dating sites, and apparently through hook-up sites, as well. You would think a let's-have-sex-now oriented site would be less prone to the prolonged fruitless work I keep experiencing.
Anyway, this week, I got a message from some guy "you're the door guy at the club, right?" I said yes, and he wrote back that he fantasizes about me "all the time". I wrote back "uhhhhh thanks" and he said he meant it in a good way, not a creepy way. I just did an LOL back, and he said he will say hi tonight at the club. His profile says bottom/vers, and only shows a penis picture, so I am not holding much hope or anticipation. There was also a latino-looking guy who winked at me, and I winked back. He said he's 'gonna get' me at the club. I'm not sure what he's intending, but he looks cute in the profile... Apparently, he recognized me.
I also got a message asking if I'm the guy with the chatty blog. I'm not sure he had the right one in mind, but since I use the same ID on both accounts, it is possible. (Leave a comment, if you are the one who asked!!) He said I must hear that a lot, which implies I have an actual "audience" - probably drawn by the Friday hottie postings. If you are reading this, and have never commented, please feel free to say Hi sometime!
And just to keep you coming back for more, here's the next Hottie on Parade!

Cinemascope
Due to a schedule adjustment, I had Friday night off from work. I met up with Daemian for dinner and a little shopping. I got a call from Brad to see if I wanted to join them at the 8pm showing of Indiana Jones. I said Yes! Daemian was upset, cuz he had to work that night, so would not be able to join.
Ronny ended up making it to the theater, as well, as did Brad's tenant Cory, with his friend Dave, and BF (don't remember the name). It was a fun movie, and I enjoyed it, but kind of like the Star Wars movies, it felt empty somehow in comparison to the originals. They resorted to Guy-getting-hit-in-the-balls. We waited all this time for a sequel, and they can't come up with anything better? Wasn't the writer's strike over with?? And boy did they go to a LOT of trouble to set up the sequels...
After the movie, I ended up at Brad's house. The three of us watched Shortbus - he'd DVR'ed it off the sundance channel. Now that movie surprised us by how good it was! It starts off with a hot gay guy jerking off and attempting autofellatio (ended up as a sweet kiss), so we of course were hooked, but it actually had substantive characters and a real plot. I do recommend it, for those who haven't already seen it.
I stopped in at the club on my way home. The hotdog vendor was right outside the club. He has been rather flirty with me, so I took a chance. Having mildly flirted that night, I wrote my number down and put it in my pocket. As he was about to start packing up (i.e. I waited until there weren't a bunch of people around), I asked him "If I give you my number, would you call?" He said "No". Pause... Then he followed up with "I'm a solitary guy." Solitary?? I asked him to call me, not move in together!! Whatever. I played calm, and said I was working Saturday, so would see him tomorrow.
Saturday, just as I was getting in my car from the gym, I got a call from Eddie. He was going to see Sex and the City with Lady Sabrina, and asked if I'd want to join. I said Yes! I really liked the movie. I keep reading reviews that are quite critical of it, but I always get defensive and disagree with their complaints. So, that proves I must have liked it!! Spoiler alert: The one thing I didn't like was how quickly she said yes at the end. I mean after not speaking for that long, I would take more than 5 minutes to get over it.
After the movie, we did a little shopping, and I bought a stack of Blurays. Then had dinner. Then went to work! I had not told anyone about trying to connect with hotdog guy, so they did not realize the implication when I heard tell that Katie gave him her number and he called her that night to come over, and she said No. (Katie being one of the former staff member's faghag, and was being referred to that night as "short and fat".) Solitary guy my ass... But he was all smiles and waves and gave me a free fried dough. I was pleasant and mildly flirty.
Speaking of flirty - Junior was there, as well. He was curiously flirty, again. Giving me looks and such, even waved his butt at me (pants dragged down, but underwear still in place). I of course signaled for him to turn around, so he grabbed his crotch and pretended to undo his pants. I acted gleeful. Tease, tease, tease. Luther and Keniah showed up, too. As they were leaving, Luther went to the trouble of saying the two of them should bring home hotdog guy to play around with. Damn, I just can not catch a break!
Sunday, Ronny, Brad, and Cris met up with me for brunch at IHOP, then we came back to my place. I wow'ed Brad with WoW and Hellgate London on my TV, then we watched Hairspray in Bluray. Brad uttered the phrase at one point "now I want to get Bluray"! Then we played a game, while 300 and Fifth Element played in the background.
I sent another quick message to the manhunt guy that was interested in relationships, and seemed interested in me. Listed my number again "in case he didn't get my last message". Still no response. Ughhhh.

I didn't want to
Friday evening I stumbled into Manhunt to help Nish identify someone. I didn't end up seeing the profile, but we think we figure out who the guy was. Meanwhile, I got like 8 guys to express interest. Not that anything has come of any of those, yet. But exchanging email addresses or phone numbers is a huge step forward from being ignored completely.
That night I worked. It was a slow night. The hot dog cart was parked in front of our door this weekend, and the (bi) vendor gave me a free sausage and peppers. He is rather cute, and has been flirty with me, so who knows. He works weekends, though! It may have been a slow night, but they were good tippers! I only checked 9 coats all night, but made $18 in tips! Poor Danielle was jealous - she's been making in the 3 or 4 range since spring arrived.
Leo was there. I said hello when he came in, but that was it. There was supposed to be a manhunt prospect showing up, too, but he never came in.
Saturday morning I got up at 5:50am to go pick up Daemian and drop him off at the train station in Framingham so he could go to work. I get up, get ready, head downstairs. See there was a message from him. Right after I went to bed, and about 20 minutes after he got home, he called to tell me that he screwed up, and he needed to be in Framingham at 8am, not 7. Bitch. Well, I just stayed up. No point going to all the trouble of undoing everything, for like 30 minutes more sleep, then re-do the morning wake-up. I did take a 4 hour snooze when I got back home, though.
That night I met up with Eddie and Jody for dinner at the chinese buffet (Not Pings). Daemian was supposed to come along, and treat, but he not only has no money at the moment (waiting for the check), but was still at work. The three of us went anyway because on Tuesday Jody leaves for Poland for the entire summer, so it was his last chance at Imperial. On my way home from dinner, Daemian called to ask me to pick him up from the train station all the way the hell out in Framingham again. I said I didn't really want to. Then I get a call from Eddie saying I had to either pick D up, or cover his shift for him. I said I didn't really "have to" do either, and he admitted no, I didn't, but I am "such a nice person" that I would. I continued to say I didn't want to do either, but for E to have D call me back.
Five minutes later, E calls back instead to say that D missed the Framingham train anyway, so would be on the late train. He needed me to cover until like 12:15 when D would be back. Since nobody really starts dancing until midnight anyway, I figured, ehhh what the hell. A part of me did figure it would (of course) run later than anticipated. From about 12:30 until 1:15 I was searching the horizon for someone to take over his shift at the club. I wanted to go dance with the brazilians - they had brought a hot new one along this night. When D finally did show up, I was stuck at the front desk covering while Danielle was off taking photos of the party. Yea - we were having our Hard Candy party to celebrate Madonna's new album. We have a cop that comes in Saturdays to keep an eye on things. When he showed up, and saw the balloons everywhere, he asked what the party was for. I said we were celebrating Madonna's new album. He stopped, looked at me, and asked, "REALLY?" I laughed, and said, "Well, it IS a gay club!" He was very cute, but very straight. Talked with me a little, though.
So, Eddie decided there was no point having D sign in for like 45 minutes, so I just stayed on the shift. Dammit. Turns out the hot new brazilian found a chick, and was all over her all night. Straight friend, or bi, I haven't found out yet. Regardless, I ended up not meeting anyone - again.
Sunday I met up with Ronny at IHOP again. He wanted to banana-stuffed french toast, but they ran out. We had omelettes. Then went to Newbury Comics, and I bought a couple used Blurays, to expand my collection. Came back and watched Eragon. I took Ronny home, and ended up going over to Russell's house. Had a nice visit with him, talked about his new GF, and the raging alcoholic ex. He's happy, though I think he's aware she is too young and energetic to stick with him for long.
Came home and made my vinaigrette for Jody's farewell party on Monday night. I was told to bring cucumber salad. I also found a "lazy trailer trash" dessert to bring. Mash up a store-bought pecan pie, and stir in a tub of coolwhip. I couldn't find pecan, so I used pumpkin. Should be good!

Besides That
I already posted the big news of the weekend. Isn't it pretty!!
Friday night I worked, again. Was hoping hottie John would stop in, since he ditched last Saturday, but he did not make an appearance this weekend, either.
At one point, I poked my head outside, while Daemian was choking down a cancer stick, just to chat. There was a small group of random people clustered around, and one looks at me and says, "Where do work - besides here?"
I was like, "Uhhhh what?"
"You look REALLY familiar. Where do I know you from?"
"Umm, I haven't worked at any other bars than this one. Where have you worked?"
"Well, then you have a twin, because I swear I've seen you somewhere else."
At that point, a customer came to the door, so I went in to ring him in. Then headed back outside. She started in again, "What's your day job?" (I'm guessing Daemian made a comment about me having a real job, while I was inside.)
"Quality manager at a manufacturing company."
"Where?"
"Here in Worcester." I was being evasive on purpose. I generally don't identify where I work during the day to people at the club, especially ones I don't believe I know.
"What company?"
I broke down and told her. She got rather animated, and exclaimed that was where she knew me from. Then I finally recognized her. She worked in the sales office for like two months. After some typical work-bashing, she suggested I send her my resume. She works for an HR department, and her husband's company is hiring. I specified that I wanted to sell my condo and move to California. She said they could help with the sale, and have divisions across the US. So, she gave me her email address. Didn't meet any guys, but who knows where this may lead!
Saturday I had to work, again, because that damn Daemian skipped out of town, and I had to cover. Again, no prospects. There weren't a lot of people there, and not a lot of Possibles. Very few Brazilians, too. The cute 20-year-old one was there. I was a little flirty with him. He seems hesitantly responsive. He may be interested, but is not sure if he should. I know the feeling. I am interested, but he is SO young. Diego (Mr Eywwww Troll) showed up, as well. He actually smiled and said "Hi!" as he came in, so I am apparently not troll material anymore.
Sunday, I went to Circuit City to browse flat-panel TV's. The Sony Bravia is still the most glorious. Daemian is trying to convince me to buy one through him, but he mostly had Toshiba's available. The Toshiba had a really nice picture, actually. The price D listed was only like $20 cheaper than Circuit City, but they also had the Bravia's on sale. I didn't buy any.
I stopped in at the bar for a little while on the way home. When I did get home, about 10:30, I thought I'd check email and see if my parents had gotten the pics I had sent of my snazzy new car! I got an IM from my friend Will. We spent like an hour and a half chatting. Reminiscing over times spent together in the past. Flirting with each other. Fantasizing about spending time together again. Wouldn't it be nice...

Same old
We had lousy weather again this weekend. So, we were dead Friday night. Saturday night wasn't great either, but it was at least better than Friday. There also wasn't really anyone in on Friday night that I was interested in - well, other than Junior, who won't. This one guy, however, was enamored with me. We'll call him Bolton. He was not UNattractive, but not my type, and no Zing. And, yes, he was white. And was noticeably intoxicated after his first drink from our bar. He was getting a little touchy-feely. Normally I'd have switched into full-bore bitch mode, but I was bored, and it has been a while, so I was kind of absorbing the accolades. Unfortunately, we had an audience. The cop found the whole thing quite entertaining. And Daemian was MORE than willing to join in. So, as I was trying to keep Bolton to a social level of attention, I had those two giggling like school girls in the background. I'm guessing Daemian mentioned something to Eddie (who normally isn't there on Friday's but there was a switch in the schedule this week), the bar supervisor, because he came up at one point and told the guy to leave the employees alone. I think Daemian was instigating, because at one point a little later I get an angry text from Eddie asking if I gave Bolton my phone number. I of course had not. As we were forcing people out the door, he asked if he could follow me home. I said No. He got clingy, so security forced him out the door. He got bitchy about that. I had already told him to be nice to the security. So, belligerent drunk is way not my type. He hung around outside the club for quite a while, waiting for me to come outside. But since Eddie was supervisor that night, we ended up hanging out at the bar until 4am. So, he was long gone by the time I left. The incident is nearly memorialized already, though. God forbid I should actually hit it off at the front door with someone I AM interested in...
Saturday I met up with some friends and played Hero Quest all day. We had a lot of fun. And pigged out on junk food. I of course was the one who supplied the junk food, but you can't just blame the dealer for the junkie's addiction! (Sidebar: I think Jen knows Joe has a thing for Brad.) That night I met up with Nish, and a new friend of his to dance the night away at the club. I think it is work related, but not completely sure. The guy gave me two kisses goodnight as they left. He stayed at Nish's house that night. I called Sunday for details, but got a vague nothing response, so assume he was still there at the time.
Leo was there; I said hello and kept walking. Diego was there, lookin yummy (formerly known as "Mr. Ick You're a Troll"). He said hello, without so much as a wince! Cris was on the dancefloor with us, as well. I was looking pretty good, too, that night. I hadn't shaved, and had a cute shirt on, and with my buzzed head was getting a few positive responses. The other staff especially was vocal about it. Of course, I brought in a whole bag of cookies (I am a dealer!), so they would have been gracious anyway. The guy with the near-identical twin at my gym was also there. We'll call him Twin, I guess. Twin gives me a lengthy look when he replies to my greetings, so I am not sure his deal, but he always arrives with the same guy, and they stay quite close to each other the whole time, so I'm guessing he's taken. Sigh... I was dancing with Cris at one point, and some Brazilian chick came on the floor, so Cris was all up in that. He loves to dance with girls. Not sure the draw. He then had to introduce her to everyone else on the floor (all Brazilians except me). Suddenly her friends appeared out of nowhere, and two of them were all over me shoving their asses at me, and being all booby and eywwww. I kept trying to avoid them, and ended up moving over close to Cris to dance more with him. All of a sudden the first chick and Cris are obviously talking about me, then the girls discuss, then the ass and booby ones come over to me. "Are you Gay??" Dumb-struck. I of course said YEAA. Now it was their turn. "Oh my gawd, we thought you were Straight! Are you Sure you're gay?" What?? Am I SURE?? "Trust honey!" With a flick of the wrist in diva formation. How can this be?? I know I used to flame out a lot in college, and have been much more subdued for a while, but Damn. Straight???? Am I really sending off those vibes? Is that why none of the guys approach me? Is that why I keep hookin' bottoms on Match?? Do I need to Gay It Up??
I think I have been rather duty-minded while at the front door. I just have never been good at small talk, so flirty never comes out right for me. I tend to be too direct. "I'm interested in you." "I want to kiss you." I've been scolded for not playing the game enough. Any time I have tried being 'subtle' it goes completely unnoticed, so that's why I just go for broke, and skip the Parcheesi.
I mentioned to Cris that I like Diego. He said Diego has a boyfriend. I said, yea, but he's not interested in me anyway. Cris said Diego's not interested in anybody. (I wonder if that means Cris tried, too.)
I didn't stay past close, just went home. Alone. Again...

Not as Exciting as Anticipated
Yea, surprise surprise...
So, here I thought I was going in early on Friday night to get bitched out. I was fully prepared to quit if it came down to anything ridiculous. But no, the truth, as seems to be the case in my life these days, was from more mundane. They were having a private party. But the owner still wanted to collect cover from them, so he wanted me to open the 'door' early.
A plain-clothes police detail stopped by to chat with the supervisor. Of course, the clothes and walkie talkies were not typical, so I had a feeling that was what they were as they approached. No big deal, either. They just gave some advice and warnings, and went on their merry way. We already have a police detail stationed, so I guess they ran out of things to worry about.
But that means we are supposed to be especially careful about checking ID. Nobody gets in without one. Especially if the cop is standing there at the time. The one hottie that I've had my eye on for some time came in, but went on about how he didn't have his ID with him, lost it at the club on Sunday, could I let him in anyway. As I said, with the cop watching, it's nearly impossible to be lenient. So, I had to turn him away. Dammit. I did get to flirt a little bit before he left though, so who knows, maybe next time.
After close, I met up with a couple of the staff for breakfast at a nearby diner. Sabrina was telling PTown stories, and we were all in stitches the whole time. The best one involved a tale of being witness to an interruption. A couple people chased a drunken friend down to the "dick docks" - semi-secluded space with lots of guys gettin' it on. Underneath a coastal dock. Sand, surf, old water-logged wood. As they were looking for their friend, a sudden loud "brrrrrrrrrrpppppppptttttttt" ripped through the muffled slurping sounds. The activity did not stop, pause, or even skip a beat. All the same, the storyteller mentioned getting a mental image of some guy rimming someone out, then turning in disgust as they got a warm face full of methane. In the tipsy state of mind he was in at the time, that image started a giggling fit. As would be expected, that environment is not fond of giggles. He tried to leave quickly, but was laughing too hard to see clearly, and couldn't find the path out. So, Saturday, the joke du jour was to make a farting sound...
Met up with Russell on Saturday. Ran to Lowe's. He helped me figure out what to buy to fix my leaky toilet. I helped him look at rugs. I was spotted by a club coworker who works at that Lowe's, too. I waved, but kept going. We went to a Vietnamese place for dinner, then he had to go home and back for a business trip to Vegas.
I worked at the club again that night. I was supposed to be floater - per the supervisor on duty. The back-door guy tried to convince me he was floater that night, but I dodged that one. Of course, I ended up covering for him for like 15 minutes, and then got stuck at the front door for a half hour, and missed the Shake Your Sheleleigh contest. (yea, I have NO idea how to spell that) There was one hottie there. Kind of like a latino version of Raoul Bova. There were two regulars (a short cutish latino and a tall older white guy, and they are a couple) who were apparently friends with him. I saw the latino friend out on smoking patio, while I was covering out there anyway, so mentioned I thought his friend was hot. Visiting from Boston ("figures"), really nice guy, really great in bed. I managed to say hello once when making eye contact, and then he avoided eye contact the rest of the night. See, that's how my life works. It wasn't as bad as the "go away troll" look I got a few months ago (oh, he was there that night, too - still hot), but still nice to know I am that repulsive...
After close, we were all hanging out again. The shot-boy - married, to a girl - was being rather flirty all night. I was trying to tell if was just the same flirtiness he shows everyone, or if it was out of the norm. They asked who that was I went to Lowe's with. I said just a friend. They were about to delve into detail, but - shiny object! - got distracted.
Sunday played WoW most of the day. Nothing exciting...

Drained
Work has sucked the living essence right out of me again this week. At my real job, the week ended up with the owner complaining I'm not getting my work done fast enough. Mind you, I have not had a chance to get to any of the tasks he had in mind because of the ceaseless barrage of daily shit. Just smile and say I'll get right on it! Ughh.
And it will only get better from there. Last night I get a text message from the owner of the club. He wants me to come in to work a half hour early tonight. Great. I'm assuming it relates to the lesbo-brawl from two weeks ago. I haven't gotten chewed out for that, and I did have a hand in it, even if I wasn't solely responsible. We shall see. I'm not too worried, because getting fired from that job wouldn't make any difference, really. But he is still a little light on staff (I have to cover this weekend on Saturday 'cuz Daemian went to PTown to hunt bears), so I doubt he'd actually do that. But I am so not in the mood for a drama scene.
I will post a lovely pic this week to cheer myself up! Hope you like it, too! I know, he is fully dressed, but still - yummm!

Blowout
Friday night was another 'whatever' night. Nothing terribly exciting happened. Cris came in - sans Brad. He stopped by to tell me that Junior was coming. About 1.5 seconds later, Junior and Cristiano walked in the door. Junior gave me another generous kiss hello. And then I didn't see them again all night. I didn't even get to see them leave. I was busy with the coats. And I made SUCKY tips. As a percentage, it was the worst ever since running coat check.
Saturday I met up with two of my coworkers from the club at the Chinese buffet. Jody was late because he hit a bad pothole and blew out a tire on his way. We had very heavy rains that night, and a ton of minor flooding spots on the roads. I had a pothole, too, on the way down. As we left the restaurant, Jody complained that he would have to change his tire. I looked at my car and it looked suspiciously flat, too. Sure enough. Dead tire. So, we helped each other change our tires. He thought his spare looked a little weak, so I pulled out my pressure gage, and it was fine. I popped it on my (fullsize) spare while I was at it, and mine was dead. So, we ran it over to the gas station to pump it full. Jody thought it sounded like it was hissing. Great. I got home, rested up a bit, then headed to the club. When I got down to my car, it was already down to half pressure, so I stopped at another gas station to refill it again. I parked in front of the gas station, so when I left the club later, I would be able to just pull in and refill it again to get home.
When I left (like 4:30am), it was completely dead again. So Daemian helped me refill it, and off we went. In the morning I tried to call Russell to see if he still had his portable air compressor, so I could refill it again and get to the tire center. He didn't answer or call back. So I got ahold of Ronny. He came over, we put the first tire in his trunk and dropped it off. The guy said they might not get to it until Monday morning (that rainstorm masked a lot of potholes, and they were busy). But he called about 5:15 to say it was ready, so we picked it up and put it back on. Now I need to take the car in to get the spare fixed, and I have like two other tires that have been leaky, as well, so I have a lot of tire work that needs to be done.
Saturday night at the club was fun, though. Cris, Junior, and Cristiano all came again. Brad again did not - Cris said he had no money. So I got to dance. I danced mostly with Cris, which I enjoy because he is a very high-energy dancer, and it brings my level up, too. And I was going to miss Sunday morning's trip to the gym (no car), so the cardio was helpful! Junior of course was completely ignoring me. Since I was not tied to the front register, or otherwise unavailable, he didn't want to actually express any interest this time. Whatever. I have stopped expecting anything to happen with Junior, so it's more of an amusing diversion to watch his jealousy flip-flop.
There were a couple other guys there that were relatively cute. I was a little flirty, and some seemed to respond. The one that took my number, though, was one that seemed a little too bottomy, and I had only noticed because he was hanging out all night with one that I was truly interested in. But if they are in fact friends, then it wouldn't be a bad thing to infiltrate the circle! Assuming, of course, that he ever calls. He has my number, not the other way around. The stripper started chatting with me while I was back in the employee area and he was getting ready. I thought he was cute enough, so was chatty as well. At the end of the night, after commenting on the guy who took my number (who really wanted Cris, and I think took my number just cuz I was there) seeming like a bottom, I for some reason turned to the stripper to ask A) gay or straight? He said Bi, so I asked B) top or bottom (when in such situations)? He said Top, so I made a comment about at least there was ONE! As I left the room, I heard him say "I think he likes me" or some such thing, but with a noticeable drip of distaste to his tone. I ignored it. Whatever.
One of the guys I've been working on trying for on Match (yes, I know, too many prepositions) emailed through Match Sat afternoon to say he was getting out of work and wanted to come meet me that night. I called after watching the finale of Project Runway (I wanted Rami! I mean, I wanted him to win. Well, I wouldn't mind gettin it on with him either...) to let him know that I already had dinner plans but we could meet up LATER or on Sunday. He ended up calling back Sunday evening while I was at dinner with Ronny, so I didn't answer. He left a message saying he ended up going out with friends Sat night so didn't call back, but would talk to me soon. Whatever.
Sat night while we were hanging out, Daemian and I got on a WoW discussion, so Eddie said he's going to have to join. Sunday I stopped in to wish Matty a happy birthday, and Eddie held up the box. He bought the World of Warcraft set, and was going to install on Monday. The infection spreads. At this rate we could set up our own gay guild!

Annoying Girl-on-Girl Action
Friday night it snowed again. I was not terribly surprised that it was fairly slow at the club. A lot more people than last weekend, but still pretty slow.
At one point, this mid-40 lesbian shows up, with an older lady and a younger girl in tow. She said she couldn't find her wallet, so didn't have her ID, but Pleaded with me to let her in. I checked the younger one (daughter?), and she was over 21. In the fracas, I unintentionally forgot to ask the older one for an ID, but she had already been declared as the 40-something's mother. If a 60 year old is at a bar, you usually assume they are over 21, and don't worry about it.
Then, Mase and Tianna showed up. They were involved in the big lesbo-fight back in January, and the owner had put them on 'probation'. They came in, and I said they needed to talk to the owner before I could let them in. He was there at the time, so they went in to talk to him. The younger friend (cousin?) along with them stayed up front, so I checked her ID. She was over 21 as well. Shortly after, I saw the owner walking around, so i asked about Mase and Tianna. He said they were OK, but needed to pay the cover. They used to be on 'permanent guest list' but their poor choices had ruined that. He said he wasn't expecting them to 'last' much longer anyway. Meaning that he figured they would soon decide to just make a different bar their standard hang out.
Maybe all of 45 minutes later, there is a loud commotion. I finished up with the incoming customer before me (who seemed very intent on making me stop and join in the commotion). I looked around the corner and saw 5 staff members and 6 lesbians (plus one random guy) in a great ball of pulling and fighting and separating. Then the supervisor sends the other security guy to get the cops. I didn't see any point in joining in myself, and I am not supposed to leave the register (i.e. cash) unattended. Turns out the fight was between Mase and Tianna and the 40-ish woman I let in earlier. The 'mom' had been punched, but she was still telling us how much fun she had been having (prior).
Two cops come, get everything settled. An ambulance shows up. The mom is OK. Then the cop comes in to ask me why "Nobody in this club has an ID". Apparently, the mom didn't have one. And Mase and Tianna didn't have any, either. Literally, the only four people in the entire building without their ID's on them were asked for an ID by the cops. GREAT. They ask for the bar supervisor. He comes. They take his ID. He gets chewed out. He gives me recriminating glances and a 'you know better' comment.
In all honesty, I got very nervous when the cop started threatening to bring in the liquor board. I could care less if I get fired, and banned from working at a bar again. But if the liquor board shuts down the whole club, that would ruin a lot of people's fun, and a couple people's livelihoods. The 40-something asked to borrow my phone to call the police sergeant. She was on with him for a good 10 minutes. The cops were still irritated, and our supervisor was obviously still irritated.
Saturday, I heard the owner chewed out the sup' for sending for the cops. I did not get any phone calls, so I do not know how much he is or is not mad at me. It is possible that he didn't call to bitch me out because he knew that M&T were his own fault, and he also is aware of our lax enforcement with regulars who are WELL over the legal drinking age. As I said, the 60-something would not have been an issue ordinarily.
I also do not know if the sergeant did pull some strings on request of the woman who called from my phone. I would assume so, though, since Saturday and Sunday came and went without a word from anybody about anything, and the club was still open. I know it is a weekend, but I have a feeling the liquor board is willing to come in on the weekend to shut down a bar.
The rest of the weekend I relaxed. Visited a couple friends, made some phone calls, watched some movies. Did not go out. I have no good prospects for dates, or hookups, or anything. I admit I didn't put much effort into it this weekend, but I have put plenty in on other weekends with no results, so did not feel too bad just staying home and going to bed at a decent hour for once.

Surprise, surprise
Friday night we had a bad snowstorm, so the club was dead. I didn't want to be there. I was there only because I had to. Most of the staff was told to stay home, but I was register, so I had to be there. We kind of all agreed that they shouldn't have charged cover that night, but that was not my decision. The tally at the front door was 36 people that night.
Saturday was a game night. I made orange creamcicle cake. We played Apples to Apples again. Daemian drooled all over some of the guys there. And we saw some fabulously fun videos, like this one. Daemian said he had off from work at the club that night, too. But I got a text from the owner asking if Daemian was with me. I said yes, we were at a party. He wrote back to say that Vinnie had "no right" to grant him the night off, blah blah blah. I showed it to D, and then was like, well what am I supposed to say to that.
He of course wanted to go there after the game night ended - partly to pick up his paycheck. We walk in, and the owner bitches me out. I shrugged it off, so he found Daemian and bitched him out. Apparently Vinnie got royally reamed over the phone earlier, so it was all good.
Leonardo was there. He was not terribly interactive. I bit the bullet and asked if I'd see him again. He said he was busy. I asked if he'd call, he said he couldn't promise. I asked if I could kiss him, he said he wasn't feeling well. So, that adds up to once again it has ended before it even began.
Sunday morning I turned on my laptop, and there was a glitch in the screen, so I decided to go to BestBuy. Ended up with a desktop with Core2 Quad processor and 22" HD monitor.
So, I will have lots of high tech screen space to check out guys I will never get...

Superduper
Friday night I worked. Decent night. Not obscenely busy, but enough of a crowd to keep me awake. Moderate tips. No fights. Ronny and Junior came in. Ronny was huggy, as usual. Junior was affectionate, too. Even called me "Love" as they were leaving.
Leonardo came in, as well. He apologized for never calling back this past week. Then said something about his plans for the upcoming weekend, and how he wanted to see me again. He mentioned he had a baby shower to go to that ended at 5, and he'd call after that. I do not know which day he said that was.
Went home as quickly as possible, because I had to get up early and go to my crappy day job in the morning. Issues and drama. The women that work there are always at each others' throats. And it drives me nuts. After getting the hell out of there, I came home, pulled my ingredients list for pumpkin cheesecake (I had gotten a specific request), and ran to the store. Made the cheesecake (actually, two), and met up with Russell for dinner.
He's in the midst of major domestic issues. Let's just say when 911 calls, restraining orders, and eviction notices enter a relationship, it's destined for failure... My heart goes out to him. Even as I say "I told you so"! I really do just hope he makes it out of this without her doing something stupid to ruin his future.
Saturday night I went to the club, had some Valentines candy, complements of the bartenders. A little Stoli ras, too. Then I saw Adam. He dragged me onto the dance floor. We had a good time. He was being rather flirty. I pointed out that I am a bottom. He said no problem, he's versatile. Danger alert - last weekend he claimed to be a big ol' bottom. This may end dramatically. But it was fun to dance with him. He does smoke, too, which is a drawback. Heading back in, I saw Junior. I went up to say hello. He pulled me close, put his arm around me, and gave me a kiss. Then mentioned that he had seen me dancing before. In other words, he saw me with Adam, and got jealous. Why can't he just act on it, already!
Leo didn't call on Saturday.
Sunday I met up with Brad and Cris, Nish and Mark for brunch at Block5. Fabulous! We had the cute waiter I like, again. (His name is Jeremy! Imagine that!) They all wanted me to leave my number for him. I didn't have a pen. And I doubt he's gay. Because things like that don't happen in my world. Well, there was the cruise director, the army captain, and the missed opportunity with the gymnast, but generally speaking...
The 'party' that I made the cheesecake for never ended up happening, so I just brought one over to Daemian's house for him to enjoy. I told him to call Miss Kitty to see if she wanted the other one. He went to the club that night. He was asked to come in to help "carry the drag-queen". I went home and went to sleep.
Leo didn't call on Sunday.
Sunday night I had a fun little dream. It was in "Smallville". Clark Kent (it actually was Tom Welling in my dream, but he was actually Superman, so that's why I say it was in Smallville) had a big party at his house. I was there. Having fun. Met this guy Kevin. Really cute. (Imagine Kevin Bacon and Ryan Phillipe had a son who was now modeling for Abercrombie & Fitch.) Next thing I know, I am in Clark's room, with Kevin, AND Clark. And we start making out. And then clothes come off. And we start doing preliminary stuff. Rubbing and licking and sucking and kissing. Three-way kissing is always fun. Even if it's just my imagination... Then things start heading a little south, but just more licking and sucking and fingering at this point. All of a sudden, Clark flips out. See, he and Kevin used to be dating, and then broke up. So, there was tension there to begin with. But apparently Superman does not do anal before marriage, and he started getting nervous when he felt a finger up there. Which he referred to as "Vienna". (Gay History Lesson: before the S&M terms of top and bottom came into popular use, the predominate terms used were french active/passive (oral) and greek active/passive (anal).) So, apparently in my dream world where Superman is gay, he feels the Austrians were into fingering! The next bit of drama is a little hazy, but next thing I know, I'm sitting there consoling Clark, trying to convince him that I thought he was hot, too, and that I wasn't just into Kevin. Imagine Superman having self-esteem issues. Drama!! That of course killed the mood, so I went to get dressed (Clark was already dressed - he could manage that pretty quickly) and couldn't find my clothes. The dream then turned into a standard embarrassment dream where I'm wandering around what appeared to be a Macy's (Superman had a HUGE walk-in closet back in Kansas!) naked, looking for my clothes.
Then I woke up and had to go to work again. Because I didn't win the lotto this week.

He mentioned he had a baby shower to go to that ended at 5, and he'd call after that. I do not know which day he said that was.

So, apparently in my dream world where Superman is gay, he feels the Austrians were into fingering!

Chances are
Friday night was a strange night at the club. Seth, the straight guy who seems to like me, but spends all night clarifying that he's straight, came in rather early and spent the whole night hanging out with me. Was a little touchy, too, but still got defensive if I made any suggestive remarks.
Some random guy was trying to leave at one point, and Seth was harassing him about me, or something, and it ended up with the guy (Rob) giving me his number. It was obviously not his original idea, so I didn't get too excited. Seth asked if I was going to call him, and I said probably not. He was like, But you totally should, he was nice. I commented that he only gave me his number because Seth was pressuring him into it. Seth's response was basically that he still gave it to me.
Leo was there, too. He said he was busy Saturday, and busy Sunday. I asked if I could see him Monday, or if he'd be busy with Marcelo. He laughed, and said he would not be hanging out with Marcelo. We shall see if I get to see him...
Adam was there, too. About a month ago, I chatted with him on a Sunday evening that I had gone in to the club to see the cabaret show. He said he had gone to call me one day and got some other psycho friend of his. He never actually got my number before - he just thought he had. So, he asked for my number, and I gave it to him. He then declared what a big bottom he his. Ohhh crap. He is a nice guy and all, but I really do need a top.
I kind of took the rest of the weekend easy, so don't have much to report.

Roxy Heart
OK - it is now Saturday night at 2:45 am. Technically, it is Sunday morning. I got up Saturday early to go to work at my sucky day job, so was a Little tired. But, went out to the club tonight anyway. I didn't have to work, because now that Daemian has moved here and started working at the club, he is the go-to cover-for-me guy. He wants the extra shifts...
I had talked with Brad, and he said he would come to Blu to hang out with me, since Cris was staying in CT again tonight (since Thursday...) but he never showed up. Partially my fault. I had given him World of Warcraft for his birthday last year, and he finally signed up. And he has become an addict REALLY REALLY quickly. So, when I got home, I logged in quick to check the guild member status, and he was online until about 1am. He ditched me for WoW.
This would have bothered me, since that would have left me with no one to chat with socially. However, I found a cutie there tonight, and actually approached him. I am SO bad at small talk and flirting, but I just went up and said hello and introduced myself. The conversation flowed from there, and I ended up with his email and phone number, in addition to a kiss in the parking lot. In retrospect, that may have been a bad idea (straight clubs next door, lots of uptight hetero boys wandering around), but at the time, I just really wanted to kiss him. He was there with a straight friend. The friend was Brazilian. He (not the friend) said he was Portuguese, but does not speak it - his father insisted that they were Americans and should speak English. I offered to let them crash at my place since he had been drinking quite a bit, and I live a LOT closer than he does. The straight friend even was trying to convince him to do it. And there was talk about him him fucking me, versus "cuddling" with the straight friend, so I may have found a top, too! But in the end, they drove back to Boston (South Boston, to be exact). He said they were going back to his place, and they would be all snuggled up together. Which is why the straight friend (a cute Brazilian named something like Cashian, who was just married in July, and is heading back to Bahia soon to meet up with his wife in time for Carnivale) was pushing for my suggestion to let HIM sleep on my living room futon while Roxy (yes, his name is Roxy) and I stay in my room. I imagine it was the "4 minutes away" comment that really appealed to him, but Cash was actually promoting my suggestion of them staying at my place tonight. Roxy decided to head back to Southie, though. I did call when I got home, but the call disconnected. I plan to call back soon to set up something for next weekend. Now I just need to lose those 12 pounds by next Saturday...
So, to recount a bit of the tale... I was there, with a drink in hand, complements of Eddie, and there were two cuties over at the pool table. One was tall and handsome, and well dressed. The other was cute and Brazilian looking, and wearing athletic gear style clothes. The tall one was Roxy, a gay guy from "Southie", there to hang out with his straight friend. He said he had called a friend of his who has moved to Florida, and the friend suggested our club as a Fun place to hang out. They did both seem to have a good time. I did talk to the straightie for a while, to make nice with the friend. Always a good idea to make the friends think you are a good choice! And since he was Brazilian (and heading to Bahia for Carnivale!), it was easy for me to make conversation with him. I even tossed in a few Portuguese terms to make him impressed with me. (Imagine their drive back to South Boston. An hour drive with nothing else to talk about but the events of this past evening...)
Roxy emphasized that he wants me to call him. I am emphasizing to you now that I definitely will. While playing pool with the lesbians, he leaned against the table and grabbed his crotch to distract them. It, of course, didn't work too well, but I commented that he needed to do it again. Then I emphasized that it was for my benefit, not the lesbians'. Eventually, he lost, and we headed over to the bar to drink. The DJ was not playing good gay-boy dance music (too much top-40 hip hop crap). I commented that I prefer the "gay classics" like Madonna or Cher, and he totally agreed. So, we did not dance at all. I asked him if he was not going to grab his dick anymore if I should do it for him. He said yes. So I did! When I went to try grabbing it through his pants pocket, he got a little grouchy, and pulled my hand way. Said to Cashian that I was trying to grab his wallet instead! He was teasing. There were a number of other cuties I've been working on for a while there tonight. The older couple was there, too. The dark one showed up much earlier than the white-boy hubbie. When he came in, I asked if he was alone tonight. He said yes, and asked flirtatiously if I was, too. I said, oh yes, I am single tonight! When the hubby showed up later, darky stopped flirting. Hubby actually came up to me and started chatting at one point. I told him most of the same stuff I had told him several months ago. He was drinking both times, so I imagine it will all be asked again, someday. Roxy started to harass the whitie, so I told him that the two were a couple, and had been together for a while. He said I should have told him sooner.
By the way, Roxy said his father was a boxer, and named him after Shawn Roxy - apparently some well-known boxer back in the day. Like WWII era. He pulled out a couple "boxer" moves throughout the evening, but I was not really paying attention to that. I was kind of leaning into him at one point. It was more of a 'brushing up against' kind of thing, but I was getting Totally turned on, so kind of backed off a bit.
The straight guy Seth was there again, so I was flirting with him for a bit. He must have gotten a little weirded out, because he ran off for a beer, and I didn't see him again all night. The "straight one" stripper twin was hired to dance tonight, too. Since it was the first time he was dancing on a night that I did not have work, I took advantage of the opportunity to check him out (can NOT dance), and shoved money-wrapped fingers down his underwear. He seemed perfectly OK with me doing that, and even put his arm around me when I stopped up on stage to chat with him and slip him some money. He does work for tips, but he was also flirty again at 1:50, as they turned on all the lights and started shoving all the people out the door. I totally would have stayed to molest him (relax - he's like 24, and is a Stripper), but was after the Southie.
Friday had been fun, too, but other than slightly flirty Junior and Kenny (the dark latino from last weekend), nothing really major happened. Here's hoping next weekend goes well! Now I really have a reason to lose those last 12 pounds this week!! (And it is now a full hour later - 3:45am, but enjoy the post anyway!)

NYE
Well, I had to work this year for New Year's Eve. I didn't really have anything better to do, really. Randy would have spent the night with me, but he had to work during the day, and I had to work at night, so we weren't together.
As front door guy, I had a lot of hello hello kisses. The cute guy who is friends with the DJ and likes to run around shirtless gave me a nice kiss shortly before, and shortly after midnight. Luther and Keniah were there, as well. Luther stopped by around 12:30 to give me a kiss. At first I did the hello hello style kiss, but he said that was not what he wanted, so I gave him a "real" kiss. There were a couple people around who saw it, and were nearly scandalized!
Around 2:10, after we had kicked everyone out, and I was finalizing my drawer, there was a knock at the front door. Cute latino guy, asked if we were closed. I said we closed at 2, nothing was open except the diner up the street. He said he didn't speak a lot of English, so I took a shot and asked "Fala Portugues?" He, of course, got a very happy look on his face, and said yes. Surprise, surprise, he is Brazilian. I did not understand everything he said, but was able to manage well enough through the conversation. I have a feeling I might see him again soon.
But it is now Tuesday night. Tomorrow I have to go to work. Ughhhhhh.

Swing and a Miss
Friday night I was working again. It started off as a slow night, but picked up considerably! Chris came in to visit. He had a couple drinks, too, but spent a large portion of the evening up at the front chatting with me. The DJ's boyfriend (Justin) noticed, and started teasing. "Is that your BOYfriend??" I said I didn't know, so Justin said - loud enough for all to hear - that we Should date, because we would be cute together. Chris left around midnight. I noticed again that kissing him caused no sparks. Impending danger...
Shortly before Chris left, Junior came in. Chris was standing next to the desk. Junior has heard that I was starting to 'see' someone (I was with Ronny when the phone call for the first dinner triggered things). I got a more-friendly kiss, by his initiation. No big deal, though. Shortly after Chris left, Marcelo (Mr. Call You Tomorrow) showed up, with a couple other friends. One of whom was the guy whose name I couldn't remember that was with Joaquin. Joaquin was not there, but the 'guy' is Leonardo. I said hi to Leo, and got a sexy kiss from Marcelo.
Later, more Brazilians showed up. It had been a while since a mass influx of 'zilians were there, and this was the breaking of the levee. A new hottie was among the group, named Joao (with a ~ over the a; their version of John). I said HI to him, but he didn't seem too impressed. There is another Brazilian I've been noticing for several months now, but he's only 20, and I still haven't caught his name (one a night is good progress). He came in with a group of mostly female friends.
The hot gay nerd, Tom, was also there. He also got overheated on the dancefloor and needed to drop his shirt off at coat check again. This time we were charging for coat check, but I asked if I could get a kiss as well, again. He grabbed me, and kissed me. Like make-out style kissing. Grabbed the back of my head, good pressure, some tongue. When he stopped, he said "mmmmmm" and grabbed me again. I got three kisses from him. (And a $1 in the tip jar!) Then he said "Thank YOU!" and went back to dancing. That one has sparks. Getting arrested in SoCal for arson kinda sparks.
I said goodnight to Joao on his way out, but again, he didn't seem to care too much. I got another nice kiss from Marcelo on HIS way out, so I asked again when he was gonna call. He just laughed, and left. I said "goodnight cutie" to Leo. The 20-year-old decided to change clothes in front of the door, so I was right there as he took his shirt off. I took advantage of the opportunity to call out an "Oi Gostoso!" He gave a surprised look as the faghag commented in portuguese how surprised she was to hear me say the word "gostoso". Tom stopped by to pick up his shirt from the coat check. I got three more sparking kisses, another $1, and a "wow"! Again, the last I heard, he's not single.
Saturday, went to the gym, then met up with Chris for lunch. I took him to the Brazilian barbeque place, though he grabbed the check again. (Nobody there that I knew, though there were a couple cuties I tried to stare at for Chris's sake.) He really like the food there. We bummed around a bit, went back to my place and watched "Another Gay Movie". He hadn't seen it, so we needed to correct that! Then Brad and Cris showed up, and we headed over to a party. Had a great time. We went to bed when we got back to my place, but I never got aroused, so we went to sleep. Around 4:30am I woke up with a hard-on and a Greek all over me. We got around to breaking out the condoms and lube, and I was Close to shootin, but then I started losing steam. He wouldn't finish til I did, and I lost the ability to finish, so he didn't. In the morning he tried again, and I tried to focus on selfishly enjoying the experience in an effort to keep myself motivated. A flash of Tom's kiss passed through my mind, and I sprang to attention. Of course, artificially contrived doesn't last long of it's own accord, and I "petered out" again. We showered, and he left to have brunch with his parents. I headed over to my bar coworker's house, and a bunch of us played poker and ate and drank all day.
Chris is a great guy, and he's TOTALLY into me, and seems to be relationship oriented. He is attractive, though a little pudgier than I've been with before. And, in what should be an hallelujah moment, he is even a top! But I uh kinda suspect it's not going to work out. There is just not enough chemistry there to maintain the physical aspect. I'm not sure when I'll get the chance to discuss it with him - we both have pre-arranged plans for the upcoming holiday. The only consolation I guess is that Tom isn't Brazilian, so it's NOT that I've dedicated myself to Brazilians! A white guy DID turn me on! Just not the one trying to be with me.

addendum
I completely forgot to mention the Other fun episode from last Friday night. The hunky stripper Nate was there with his brother, Rich. Twin brother. Nate apparently does personal training, as well, and is a bit more buff than Rich. Also more outgoing. I noticed Rich has a slight speech impediment, which I am sure is what led to him being more quiet.
The two of them stayed up front by me and chatted for quite a while. At one point, Mattie came over, and got around to calling Nate "the straight one". To which, I commented "That would imply YOU (looking at Rich) are 'the gay one'!" Nate said yea, Rich was lookin' for a man. I said I was, too!
Nate was working that night, and Rich was just along for support. He came over to talk to me some more by himself, while Nate was busy. We got along well enough, so I asked him about his preferences. He claims to only hook up with guys if it will help advance his career (wants to be a model). Oh, I can already envision the disappointment that is going to lead to! But I just laughed and said I'd have to figure out a way to advance his career...
They said goodnight as they left to go home at the end of the evening. Rich quickly added that he would see me next Friday. Now I also have to lose 10 pounds by then!! :)

Hallowen Bash
The other day I mentioned to my WoW friend Daemian that I was going to work as Janet from Rocky Horror, and he said he'd Love to See That! Ended up with him buying a bus ticket!
Friday night he showed up - late because of bus breakdowns - and we went to a Halloween party at my friend Brad's house. We had a great time, and Daemian had the rapt attention of several fellow party-goers. We stopped in for a few moments at the club, and he got a quick intro. Then we went back to my place and chatted, looked at pictures, watched "Another Gay Movie" - it just is such a good movie! Watch it! If you've already seen it, watch it again!
Saturday we went shopping. I still needed a pink dress, and was having no luck. The best I found was a fuchsia number at Express. Luckily, one of the club regulars works there (surprise) and helped me out. Sadly, a size 12 did not button over my ribcage, and that was their largest size. Express does not carry anything in 14! Ended up at Marshall's. I'd been there before, but tried it again. And there it was! A stretchy pink 14 collared dress! On sale! I had a "Maxx Moment"!
That evening we went to a fabulous little restaurant in town (Block5) and had a great meal. More importantly, the wait staff was hot, and flirty! For a moment we were expecting to get our meal comped!
Headed to the club, and got ready. The evening was a lot of fun. I got to kiss a hot half-naked Superman! Flirted with a number of cuties. As I walked to the bathroom at one point, Junior stopped me. He got rather grabby. I asked if it was the titties (or "bobos") that he liked. He's like "Oh yeah, you want me to fuck you?!" and grabbed me, started humpin on me. I, of course, was like "Oh Yeah! I've been Waiting for you to say that!!" Very thrilling, but oddly unexpected. I was in the "Sweet Transvestite" performance, as well as the "Time Warp". Heading to the stage, I got molestered by Junior again. Daemian had a blast, as well, and snapped a few pictures. So, here's one of me. Click it for the full-size.
