Surreal
Monday was the bombing at the Boston Marathon. I was at work (in Woburn), and the Brazilians were fine, too. Today I headed into work and the radio was non-stop news coverage of the manhunt for the suspect. It was two brothers who then started a shoot-out last night by MIT, and one was killed. The city is on lock-down as they hunt down the other one. I was again at work. Nauber on Fridays works at Bertucci's (across the street from where the shooting had been) and Cheesecake Factory (a couple blocks over), but everything was closed, so he had the day off. I am very glad he didn't head into Cambridge today.
Tomorrow we fly out to visit my family in NM. There are increased security measures at Logan Airport, so it will take a little longer, but hopefully it is an uneventful trip.

Work absolutely sucks. Everybody is dispirited. I am still applying for things, and still getting no love at all from any company out there. I even sent out some Quality position applications, and those fell into the bottomless void.
Nauber came back from his Florida vacation this week, and has been all sweet and lovey. They apparently didn't spend the whole time sitting on the beach, so it would have actually been fun to go along. They hit up the Keys, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, and Orlando in addition to the Tampa visit. St Patricks Day at Downtown Disney is apparently quite fun!
(Yes, this one is Brazilian)

Take Me Away
Another big winter storm this weekend. Started Thursday and kind of ruined Friday. Should actually be nice out over the weekend, though.
Nauber, meanwhile, is in Florida on vacation. I took him and Darrell to the airport Wednesday evening. There was a cop (statie) sitting around a corner inside the airport express HOV tunnel. A deserted exressway tunnel that takes people to the airport with (apparently) a 35-mph limit. Goddammit.
And every week my job just sucks worse and worse. Nobody I apply at ever contacts me, though, so I have no idea how long it will take to escape. I need a vacation!

Merry Christmas
I leave in the morning to go home for Christmas. I didn't go last year due to lack of money from extended unemployment. I will meet the dog for the first time, and probably my nieces. There is still a chance the succubus will back out, but Here's hoping!

Desert
Last weekend we went to Vegas. I booked Palms for our hotel - I do not recommend it. In addition to being a little on the sucky side of meh, it is also a ways off the strip. I did rent a car knowing it was a bit of a hike. Having a car meant going to Hoover Dam was possible. They begged for Grand Canyon but that was just WAY too far.
Overall we had a great trip! Saw Zarkana (cirque du soleil); I didn't like it. Boring'er than usual and a bunch of flubs by the performers. We saw Jubilee. It is NOT what I was expecting. It is so over the top uber gay you would not believe it! And considering they flaunt topless women as the attraction, you better believe there's some insane WTF going on! While Nauber was seeing Shania Twain, I was going to go play blackjack at TI, but ended up wandering with Ronninho. He's such a nice guy. And quite cute. Mostly we talked about how bad his brother has gotten. Ronny spent most of the trip on Grindr looking for hook-ups.
They all want to go back again. And I enjoyed it enough to consider it!

Welcome back...
It has been a while since I've posted. With Nauber's mother here, I was responsible for hosting a lot of the time, so posting was low priority. We had a little trip to Salem, and a 5-day in NYC. It was a nice 6-week visit for Nauber, but it ended up being 'work' for me. It was hard to communicate, and I spent SOOOOOO much time at Marshall's it was getting scary. She was more distant and stoic than I would have expected, based on Nauber telling stories about how she loves taking care of everyone and all his friends love her to death. And she did almost no cooking. Nauber claims she made him dinner every day, but I never saw any of it, so she was cooking for one or two, if she was. I of course had to make cake all the time. Even showed her how to do Olhos de Sogra.
Cafe Belo is no more, but the big one in Everett is now under new ownership and open as Brava Cafe. Two dollars more, but the meat did taste like somewhat better cuts. The garlic beef is really weak on the garlic, though!
And, still job hunting. Sigh...

4th
Hope you had a nice 4th of July. We were in Tampa Bay, Florida. It was hot and humid the whole time, and Nauber still insisted on no AC. So, while we were in the car he would roll down the window. Mara would tell him to roll it up because she had the air on, but Cida would just turn it off. Not even leave the fan on, just shut the whole thing off. Ughhh.
Other than Cida dumping beer on me shortly before heading to the airport, it was a nice trip. Went to Busch Gardens. Saw the Dali museum, FL museum of art, Tampa aquarium (second trip), and Chihuly collection. Chihuly was like three things, and cost $15 each. Luckily Mara had passes so we paid very little to go there, and nothing at the other three. They made me bake a banana bread and a beet cake. They loved them both!
Started work when I got back. I get up early, leave around 7:20, get back between 5:30 or 6, and go to bed around 11:30. I didn't see Nauber at all on Thursday because of schedules, so I was not able to tell him that I wanted to meet up for lunch on Friday. So had lunch alone. ;( But he made empadao and chocolate/coconut cake while he was home today!

Repercussions
Vegas was fun. Nauber wants to go back (wanted to stay longer, too). "O" was visually stunning, but rather light on the acrobatics. Rio buffet was quite impressive (recommended!) but the Bellagio buffet was disappointing (not worth it).
Of my predictions, one was right (my desires were not important) but one was wrong (Phil did not bring the laptop and did not play WoW). Though, Phil did bring an iPad and did a little work now and then.
And, Phil and Ronny got into an argument that at one point included Phil hitting Ronny. Phil admits it was wrong and has apologized, but Ronny has declared Phil as being "dead to him" so has not heard the apology. I, of course, am tossed in the middle. It made the second half of the trip a lot more anxious and a lot less exciting. Ronny has also decreed that Phil is not allowed in our house, which I understand. It will cause issues a few times, for parties and such.
So, here's a pic of some guys being happy and getting along...

R&R
Spring break is next week; no school. The term usually means rest and relaxation. But we will be in Vegas with Brazilians. Nauber will want to go everywhere and do everything. Ronny will want to go everywhere and do everything that doesn't cost much money. Phil will want to sit in the hotel room and play WoW on his laptop the whole time. And nobody will ask what I want to do...
Just a prediction.
Just a prediction.

Away
We booked a trip this week to go to Vegas during my Spring Break (March 14). And then we got hit by a blizzard. It is so nice not having a car, or anywhere to go, during a blizzard. No longer is snow automatically tied to an "ahhhh shit" feeling.
While in Vegas we have tickets to see Cirque's O, and the Brazilians are heading off to see Celine Dion. Nauber asked what we will do the other night we are there and I suggested hitting the 1/2 price booth that day to find something. I don't Lenny Kravitz will be performing, or that we'd go, but maybe we'll hit up one of the male strip shows?

2010
Well, it is a new year, so I guess I'll start again!
The following pic helps inspire posting, as well. And guess what nationality he is.

Well, I officially had the worst Christmas ever. My flight was Boston to DC to Dallas to El Paso. Got to DC and found out the Dallas flight was canceled. Got to spend Christmas Eve/Morning alone in an airport hotel at Reagan National. Quite depressing, actually. The bright spot, though, was that Nauber felt really bad for me, and was even moved to the point of saying "I love you." First time! After 16 months together.
The afternoon of the 24th I couldn't bear to sit in the hotel room, so went for a walk. Ended up at a huge mall, walked around for a bit, still couldn't find anything for Nauber. Also found a little bar/restaurant around the corner from the hotel with rainbow flags waving. Freddie's. It is probably a fun place on a night with more than three people at the bar. The bartender was cute, too (named Scott, I believe).
Headed to the airport early in the morning on the 25th. They put me on the 2:30 flight to Dallas, with a confirmed seat on the 10:20 to El Paso with a standby for the 8pm. Well, a little bad weather rolled into DC, and the 2:30 was delayed. Then they switched me to the 4:30 because the 2:30 routed through St Louis which was getting snow. The 4:30 was direct, but ended up delayed until 6. I got to Dallas at 8:30pm. The flight I was supposed to be on arrived at 7:45, which would not have given me time to get a standby seat on a flight that would have departed as I ran up to the gate counter. So, I missed that chance either way. Got into El Paso at 11:10pm and my parents picked me up. Got to the house about 12:15am on the 26th. Over 42 hours travel time. And it only took 9 to get back...

Boom Boom Ptown
This past weekend was the 4th of July holiday. Brazil's independence is celebrated on September 7. Nauber said he had never missed a parade for Brazil independence, so while in the USA, he seems to celebrate ours as a proxy. Of the myriad places he wanted to go (NYC, DC, Philly, Vegas) we ended up in Provincetown.
We left about 9:30 Friday (7/3/09) morning, so traffic was pretty decent all the way out. Slowdown leading to the Bourne bridge, and lots of stopping for left-turners along Rte 6 along the outer cape - which is to be expected - but pretty light yet.
Mykael was following separately because he had an allergist appointment. It was after 7pm when he showed up, because he hit heavy traffic. We had brought a mountain of food, most of which was 'donated' by Panera Bread. Between the free breakfast at the hotel and the snacks, fruit, sandwiches, etc. that we had brought along, we rarely ate out, other than ice cream. That saved us a huge chunk of money. But Nauber and I did go out for lunch on Friday afternoon. Since Mykael (severely seafood allergic) was not there yet, we got some calamari. Lunch itself was a avocado/caramelized onion burger with a side of fries, split between us. All a bit on the pricey side (The Patio, in PTown - I was expecting food choices to be pricey). The waiter followed the burger with a second batch of calamari. Somebody made a mistake. The waiter checked, and asked if we wanted him to take it away. I said what else would they do with it, so he let us keep it free. He even apologized! No apology needed for free calamari!
Nauber and I then wandered town a bit. Stopped at WA. Went to the serenity garden in the back. We were sitting on the center bench for a bit, then wandered over into the corner. As we headed out, my sensor went off, and I saw a cute dark-skinned guy on the bench with a couple friends. As I began to recognize the face, he spoke, and the voice confirmed it quickly. It was Sergio. He didn't see us, and Nauber does not know him, so we just left. I went the rest of Friday and Saturday without seeing him. Sunday night we stopped in at the Wave Bar again. (It was free, compared to $25 for the Paramount bar on the other side of the pool on Saturday, and $20 on Sunday.) After entering, Mykael wanted to pee, and I kind of did, too. I followed him into the bathroom. He was first, so got the (only) urinal. The (only) stall was occupied, as well, so I waited. The stall-user finished first, so the door opens, and I turn to go in. The person exiting the stall was Sergio. No avoidance possible here. Mild "how are you" and "are you here with anyone" chatter, and he left. I don't think Mykael was even paying attention, because he didn't ask about it.
The parade was quite short, and was mostly fire trucks blasting their sirens. The fireworks started promptly and 9, and were actually quite impressive. They did it in four little 5-minute 'waves', so it was single-fire for a bit, then a grand-finale style flourish. The first time through, I thought it WAS the grand finale, after a mere 5 minutes. But they kept going! There must have been a technical glitch as well, because about 15 or 20 minutes after they ended, there was another 3 minutes or so of single-fire launched.
Nauber and Mykael spent a couple hours on both Saturday and Sunday lounging poolside or sand-side. Both times it was at the hotel, Provincetown Inn. We were very happy with the place, and pleased to find a fridge in the room, too. With all the food we had brought along, it saved us from raiding the ice machine all weekend. The pool was big enough to swim in, so Nauber got a little swimming in, as well. More on Sunday when the crowd was a bit thinner. Did a lot of walking, some shopping (mostly looking), and went to the Pilgrim Monument. They apparently stopped doing the free Sunday morning entrance a couple seasons ago, so I paid the $7 each for Nauber and I to go. The $10/ea pirate museum on the wharf, tho, we skipped.
The Varla Jean show was on Mykael's to-do list, until he found out there is a new theater, so tickets are now $30 instead of reasonably priced, so we didn't go. He was also chattering about getting a tattoo (to cover up the 'stains' left by an afternoon of goofing around with a needle and ink with alchie/felon Jason) but didn't end up doing that either. We did get ice cream a couple times. Not surprisingly, the Lewis Bros (site under development) was better than at Spiritus.
I do not know why, but straight people apparently LOVE going to Provincetown for the 4th. Of course, shortly after the fireworks ended, the buses started hauling them back to Wellfleet or Orleans or wherever they were seeping in from. Of course, it is just that style of cross-cultural blending that helps build the tolerance we are looking for. Gay/lesbian couples acting all coupley in the company of straights doing the same thing is not common outside the gay enclaves, so it is encouraging to see that many straight couples and families that don't mind.

California
OK - here's a little info about my trip. San Fran was lovely, the weather was cooperative, if a wee tad on the chilly side for a palm-tree environ. But 60 / 65 is nothing to complain about relative to Massachusetts for this time of year!
I applied at Macy's. Takes like 45 minutes. First thing in the morning I get the rejection. Wow... Checked out Craigslist and found a couple possibles. Sent of a resume. Never heard back. Sigh...
So, did some shopping. Nauber is fond of the A|X, so I got him a shirt.

Mykael had given me a $20 to pick up some Japanese candy, so I took a walk down to Japantown and perused the IchibanKan.

But the main excitement of the trip was heading out to Yosemite National Park for the weekend. Brad had booked a room at the Lodge at the Falls (the reservation lady said the other hotel, Ahwanhee, was booked), so Thursday he ditched work at lunch and we drove out. He would get excited every time he saw a waterfall. Every time. Even if it was the same waterfall we had just seen 30 seconds earlier.

(Click photos to see full size. Scenery shots are better in full size!!)
This being the "Lodge" and the "Falls" mentioned in the name; specifically, this is Yosemite Falls (upper). When we were checking in, the clerk asked what room we wanted. I couldn't think of anything else to say, so said, "One with a good view." Our room overlooked the bike path. Spiteful... Brad was displeased with the hotel. Kind of like a Days Inn painted brown. With lots of warnings not to leave anything in your car (bears) or not to leave your windows open (raccoons). We only saw deer and squirrels, though. Dinner that night was good. Brad was lusting after my cobbler after he tasted it and felt it was better than his creme brulee. The blueberry martinis were yummy, too.
Went for a little hike the next morning. Ended up at Mirror Lake.

On our way back, we saw more rocks, and trees, and trees in rocks, and rocks in trees, and butterflies, and babbling brooks. All of a sudden we come across a clearing with a big building in the middle.

I asked if this was the Ahwanhee. He said it must be. I said let's go check it out. It is gorgeous. Compared to the Lodge, this place was stunning. It is a AAA Four Diamond, and on the national register of historic sites. Brad said he should talk to them about hosting conferences, so he can score some points at work. While chatting up staff at the front desk, Brad mentioned we would have stayed there, but they were booked. The desk clerk, Joshua, said they were nowhere near booked. Made a few computer entries, and a quick phone call, and we were 'upgraded' to stay there that night, for substantially less than would have been charged. Brad said he would buy Josh a drink as a thank-you. He said he'd accept. We ended up having several drinks that evening at the lounge, then he joined us for dinner. This dinner was excellent. Brad was happy with his pineapple tart, so I had my tiramisu in peace. Our waiter was a big homo, and Brad even made a suggestive remark at one point, but we were not exactly able to figure out Josh. He had a staff party to go to, so eventually he left, but texted Brad right away to thank him for the lovely evening, and the drinks / dinner. Brad started getting excited. They've texted a few more times back and forth, though I recommended Brad not get too needy or crowding. I thought the best plan of attack was for him to pick a weekend to go visit, call reservations to book at the Ahwanhee (which Josh already said is booked through the peak summer season) and then when he can't get a room call Josh for help. If the response is "Stay at my place!" then he's in. If the response is "Well, let me check if there's anything at the Lodge..." then he is NOT in.
But it would be cool to go back and have a guide there who knows the real ins and outs, and where to go, and when, and how to get there. He mentioned that most of the really cool stuff is off the paths, so most tourists never see it.
Brad wanted to go to the Half Dome, but the snow isn't gone yet, and the paths at the top are closed until about the first of May, so we only got to see it from the tourist paths.

We were also told that the falls had just started flowing about two days before we got there, as the snow-melt kicked into high gear. We ended up picking a good time to go in some respects, and the trip was quite - uhh - fruitful, even if we didn't get in as much hiking as expected.
And one last bit of advice, if you are booking flights to San Francisco, and plan on using public transportation to get to and from SFO, remember the BART train does not start until 8am on Sundays. I ended up taking a cab because I was not aware.

I Know You
Saturday night, Nauber and I met up with Michael (turns out it's spelled Mykael) and went to party in town. It was supposed to be an "Autie Mame" party, in honor of his larger-than-life eccentric aunt coming to visit, but she had grander plans, and was unable to make it. It ended up being a lot of college professors the host works with, and homos the host met at the bar.
We had just arrived, put our jackets in the bedroom, and came back downstairs. Walking in the door was Nish, with his friend Eva, and some Asian girl I did not know. Said hello to him, then headed into the kitchen. Nauber was hungry, because Ronny and I had stopped for a quick bite to eat at Wendy's, and he refused to partake. They had a couple cheeses, some hummus, tons of wine, and brought out a tray of what looked like empanadas. Nish wandered into the kitchen, followed by Luther. So, I said hi to him, as well. Nish started reaching for a baked good. I warned him that they looked like empanadas and were probably filled with beef. He found someone to ask, and yes, there were either ham or beef, so Nauber grabbed one, but not Nish.
Next time I turned around, I saw Nish walk past, followed by Manny. It was a reunion of sorts with all the local friends I haven't been keeping in touch with very well lately.
Monday morning I headed into Boston a little early, and left my car near Lance's house, and we had breakfast together before I headed to the airport. Sadly, I don't think I'd seen him since I left my car at his house for the Hong Kong trip back in October.
And now I'm in San Francisco! Have already looked through the want-ads in the Chronicle (which may shutter soon), and there were only like 50 postings in the entire Sunday paper. Not a good sign, at all. But am also visiting with my friend Brad, who I have not seen since we took the cruise as guests of the C.D. back in 2001.

Disney '09
Friday morning (Feb 27) I flew with Nauber to Tampa, FL. Smooth travels, we hit Tampa about 30 minutes early. We were staying at his friend Cida's place. She said she lives in Tampa, was at home, and was leaving at that exact moment to come get us. An hour and a half later, she showed up. Got in the car, and over an hour later got back to her house, which is not IN Tampa, but in Brandon. This is YahooMaps version of how to do this, but she drove through downtown instead. On the way, I saw a restaurant called Sweet Tomatoes - The Salad Buffet Restaurant. Nauber LOVES salad, so I pointed it out. Guess where we had dinner! It was very good. They are nowhere near MA, but if you are lucky enough to find one I do recommend it. We ended up going there again Sunday morning to try out their brunch. It was OK, but if you don't feel like salad at 10am, then maybe not worth it.
Saturday we went to the Florida Aquarium. I'd rank it better than the NE Aquarium. We had lunch/dinner at a little plaza nearby that was hosting a Gasparilla festival. They apparently love pirates in Tampa. We then headed to Ybor City, the historic neighborhood of Tampa, which also turns out to be home to the gay district, nicknmaed Gaybor City. Turns out that night they were having an event called Southern Exposure - The Nation's First Gay Carnival. It was a little weak, but a nice attempt. They also had RuPaul performing at a gaybar next-door, and Kat DeLuna at the gay club across from there.
Sunday we went to the Strawberry Festival. Basically a state fair. Carnie rides and fried foods on sticks, 4H kids showing off livestock, and tacky craft items for sale. Oh, and strawberry shortcake EVERYWHERE. And for those who haven't been to a state fair event in a while, they now have Deep Fried Pepsi. I looked it up, and HERE is a quick explanation. From there, Cida dropped us off at Disney's Pop Century resort. We were given a double room; Nauber wanted a king, so the reception clerk said they would have one opening up on Tuesday. I did go back Tuesday, and we changed rooms. That also moved us from the 70's area (no pool) to the 50's (with a pool). Not that he ever used it, but Nauber was happier to be next to a pool. Part of the reason, though, was that we had some cool weather that week. Sunday through Wednesday was in the 60's. Thursday was like 72. Friday hit 77, and Saturday was 79. Now that we've left, this whole week should be in the 80's, according to the Weather Channel. But it kind of didn't matter, because as we were checking in, they informed us that Typhoon Lagoon has been closed for a while for refurbishment, and would not be available the entire week. We did have Friday planned as our waterpark day, so we did spend the whole day at Blizzard Beach.
The Illuminations show at Epcot was cut back. It's about half a long, and much less fire. Kinda borin'. We were at Hollywood Studios (they renamed the old MGM park) part of Monday and Tuesday, which are apparently the two days a week they do not run the Fantasmic shows, so we missed that. The Magic Kingdom fireworks, however, seem to have been maintained - that was still a good show. We spent more time at Epcot than anywhere else. Most of the rides Nauber found boring, but he seemed to like Soarin (wanted to move to CA) and Space Mountain. We had sit downs at Epcot's Coral Reef, France, Morocco, Japan (TeppanEdo), and Germany (a buffet it turns out), MK's Tony's Town Square (much better than our pick last year - Liberty Inn or something like that), and the Wolfgang Puck at Downtown. Somehow, we kept getting stuck with lousy waiters. Nauber liked the food best at Morocco, but that had the worst of the waiters, so we tipped him less than suggested. You would think now that they get tipped independently from the dining plan they would be better servers, but it seemed worse than last time. The "show" aspect at TeppanEdo seems to have been scaled back as well; it was more of a cook the food and move on experience.
It turns out Nauber is a methodical vacationer. Guidemap and time schedule in hand, with a pen, he made sure to hit everything. Maybe next visit there, he would be able to relax and enjoy spontaneously, but this was a mission. And he put Ronny and Cris to shame. He has nearly 1200 pictures, and even deleted around 200 that didn't turn out well. He bought a lot of $3 or $4 souvenirs and was nabbing as many of the free buttons that he could.
As we took the Disney shuttle back to the airport when it was all over, he said he didn't want to leave. When we dropped him off at home he said he would miss sleeping next to me, too. I guess that means he liked it! We caught a lot more of the shows and saw more of the little out-of-the-way touches, so I guess his methodical mania had its up-side. We did sneak kisses whenever possible (Tom Sawyer's Fort and the Haunted Mansion provided some good dark corners)!
When I have a chance to load the pics onto my computer, I'll post a couple. The hard part will be sorting through them all to choose only a couple!

It's a Conspiracy
I had a job interview this week. The interview was in Providence with a recruiter. The position under consideration is right down the road in Auburn. The world seems to want to keep me in winter. The sad part is, it would be a great opportunity, so I would take it. The positive spin would be that the company works with medical devices, yet does not require experience in such field to get in the door. So, I have a shot at getting in the door, and then gaining medical device regulation knowledge that is required for just about every job I've seen in San Diego. Another biding-my-time scenario.
After searching websites galore, and several malls, we have found that nobody is really selling swimsuits yet, around here, and that they've gotten rather expensive. $250 board shorts (see Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Barney's) are just not what Nauber had in mind. So, we were flipping through gay sites to find links to clothing, and Instict mentioned N2N, so we went there, and he found one liked that was only $20. It should be here in a couple days. This is for him to wear at the water parks at Disney. Disney. DDDDiiiiisssssnnnnnneeeeeyyyyyyy. This is an approximation of how it will fit, and this week's hottie on parade:

And What Does That Mean?
Thursday, I told Nauber to call me after school. We were trying to book a trip to Disney, and I needed to get confirmation from him on his availability. And there's a friend in Tampa he wanted to visit, so we needed to organize around that, too. But he never called. Friday night I tried calling, but no answer. He called at 10pm to say he got home at 9, having had "stuff" to take care of, and then was on the phone with a friend. He felt sick and was heading to bed. Uhh, OK.
So, I made plans to go to Brad's house Saturday afternoon. Nauber called at noon, so I told him what I was up to. There was a Brazilian BDay party again that night, and he said he wanted to go early, so I would be too late for him, so he'd 'call on Sunday'. Whatever. At 9:30, I get a call from Michael, who is at the party with Nauber, and he said Dulci (the hostess of the party) said I should come over. I asked how long they'd be there, and he said about an hour, so I said it wasn't worth heading over. Michael tried handing the phone to Nauber, and I heard him say "Why would I want to talk to HIM?" Nice. Michael said they might go to the club after.
I went to the club, myself. Brad and a bunch of his friends were going, anyway, so I was hanging out with them. The hottie Brazilian from last September (click HERE for a refresher) was there. I chatted with him for a while. He'd been in a 3-month relationship that ended that very day. He had apparently moved in with the guy, so was now homeless. He said one of his (Brazilian) friends there that night offered to let him crash. Michael then calls to say they are on their way to the club. But, they never show up. Hottie left early, not sure where he went, but I had told him to call sometime to hang out. I did specify I am still seeing someone.
A part of me TOTALLY wanted to invite him over. Russell was out of town, and he needed a place to crash, and Nauber was ditching me. Brad said Go For It. But I couldn't bring myself to do that to Nauber. I do have genuine feelings for him. Not exactly sure what he's feeling for me, yet.
Sunday, I picked Nauber up, and he was cold and distant for the first hour. We went to my place, and he mentioned he was going to a movie with Michael that night, and I was welcome to come along. I love being the tag-along in their relationship. But we called the girl in Tampa, and worked out the details, and I booked a trip to Florida, with a week at Disney, including tickets for the Cirque du Soleil show there - La Nouba. Once I kissed him, he switched; gave me a tight hug, started kissing me, said he had missed me. So, of course, we had sex. He still turns me on way too much for me to ever say no to that.
Monday night, I said the Eu Te Amo again ("I love you"). Again, he kissed me but did not say anything in return. The movie "He's Just Not That Into You" comes out this coming weekend. We will probably go see it, because Michael wants to. Yea...

CHRISTMAS IS COMING
I scrapped the plans to drive out west, though it turns out that I should have just kept up with that idea. The Unemployment office has not yet rescheduled my hearing after their cancellation. I got ahold of someone Monday afternoon, and her response was "Oh that hasn't even been rescheduled, yet!" So, that evening I booked a one-way on Southwest to visit my family for the holidays.
My roomie will be watching the mail, and will let me know when the letter arrives, and what date it says I need to be here for the new hearing date. Then I will jump back on the Southwest website and book the return flight. Unless it takes even LONGER than a couple weeks, in which case I will probably be back anyway.
So, tomorrow I fly out to the parents' place, which means no posting of hot shirtless guys for a couple weeks! For now, have a Merry Christmas, and hope to see you soon! Here's the Caco picture that was discussed in the previous post.
